8d kya hai – ये एक Disciplined Process है , जिसके द्वारा हम Problems को solve करते है और इसमें हम Methodical और analysis करते है। 8d में हम हर process को d से show करते है , जिसका मतलब होता है Discipline , 8 discipline द्वारा हम problem को define करते है और उसको समझते है , इसके बाद quality को improve करने के लिए action लेते है , हम यहां पर Quality को continuously improve करते है और problem आने के causes निकालते है।
8d kya hai इसमें सभी Discipline के Inputs और Outputs होते है। और सभी inputs – outputs एक दूसरे पर dependent होते है।

Prepare for Problem solving Process
Symptom :- इसमें हम जो भी problem customer को आ रही है , सभी problem को जानते है और इस पर action करने के लिए आगे work करते है।
Problem :- Example 8d kya hai – किसी पार्ट को चेक करने के लिए के Gauge बनाया गया जिसमे customer द्वारा उसके Control limits में error आयी ,
अब इसका causes निकलना है वो इस तरह हम निकाल सकते है 8d problem solving techniques
- ये देखे की Problem solve करने के लिए क्या क्या चीज़ की जरूरत है , और सभी symptom को note करे।
- क्या कोई severity है इसको confirm करे और और उसका size , Urgency और उस person को identify करे जो इस problem को solve कर सकता है।
- ये दिखाए यदि Emergency Response Action की जररूत हो या फिर Internal और External Protect की जरूरत हो।
- Emergency Response Action द्वारा suspected materials को Reworking और Replacing सकता है।
- या फिर कुछ ऐसे time पर Material की Customer End अपर जा कर Sorting और reworking भी करना पड़ सकता है।
- इस तरह के idea से ही Customer complaints को handle किया जा सकता है , जिसमे Emergency response Action अहम् है।
- Emergency Response Action Interim Containment Action (d3 ) से अलग होता है

- क्या Defect को सही तरह से define कर दिया गया है , customer द्वारा ?
- क्या जो person problem को देख रहा है क्या वो severity , size और सभी symbol को जानता है और काम करने की ability रखता है ?

Establish The Team 8d kya hai
Select The Champion
- Team बनाने के लिए हमें ऐसे Employees को लेना होगा , जिसको सभी process की सही तरह Knowledge हो इसको लिए हमें Champion को चुनना होगा।
- और हमें ऐसे Champion को चुनना होगा जो Management का member हो और 8d kya hai में improvements करने के लिए हमेशा ready रहे।
Select The Team Leader
- Team Leader द्वारा सभी Problems को spread कराया जाता है और सभी process के लिए भी अधिकारी होता है।
- इसलिए Team Leader को Process का पता चाहिए और सभी meetings , Timing सभी के बारे में Coordinates से पता होना चाइये।
- और इसके बाद Team Members को select करे।
Select The Team Members
- Cross Functional team ( CFT ) द्वारा organization level में बॉंटा जायेगा और उसके process और probem और solutions को निकाला जायेगा।
- Cft द्वारा 4 से 7 Mrmbers को चुना जा सकता है।

- क्या symptom के according सभी Functional team को identify कर लिया गया है और सभी supplier end पर भी Identified कर लिया गया है ?
- क्या Responsible Team द्वारा implementation किया जा रहा है ?

Describe The Problem
- D2 के द्वारा Problem को बताया जाता है , और इसके अंदर Internal और External Problems को Identify किया जाता है।
- इसमें हम 5w और 2h के द्वारा Questions करके Problems को solve करते है।
Use 5W/2H question
Who – Identifying Customers Complaints.
What – Identifying the problem adequaltely and accurately.
When – Timing ……When did the problem start ?
Where ( Location ) – Where is it occuring ?
How – In what mode or situation the problem occur ?
How Many – Magnitude …Quantity the problem.
