Chapter 52 No One Cared (1)
Rose didn’t want to know.
But Isidro had already shouted loudly.
“Ms. Edwards, you caused so much trouble by interviewing that top star. If it weren’t for Mr. Roach cleaning up after you, do you think you could have fought against the capital on your own?”
Rose’s face darkened, “What do you mean?”
Isidro vomited all at once.
“Hector’s online revelations were all exposed by Mr. Roach after he had someone investigate. Originally, the backers behind him wanted to protect him, but Mr. Roach made it clear that they should abandon him. As for Hector’s endorsements, they could have been saved, but Mr. Roach didn’t leave him a single one to give you face. Among them were several heavyweight endorsements, which Mr. Roach personally followed up on by making phone calls!”
“Lastly, it was Ms. Stewart’s turn. Even if Mr. Roach didn’t find any evidence of her involvement in this matter, he still forced her to come and apologize to you!”
Mr. Roach did so much for Ms. Edwards, but she scorned his kindness!
Instead, we spent our days together, constantly being affectionate with each other, just like Darrin.
Isidro was heartbroken for Judson!
“Ms. Edwards, I beg you to have some sense,” Isidro exclaimed indignantly, “Mr. Roach’s kindness towards you is not endless. One day, the favor from the Edwards family will be offset by that.”
“Enough!” Rose interrupted Isidro.
The Edwards family’s kindness was the topic she least wanted to
mention.
Unfortunately, no one paid attention to her taboos.
Over the years, even though the Roach family protected her and loved her dearly, the words “repaying kindness” would always
unintentionally or intentionally float into her ears.
Røse didn’t understand.
Why does everyone around Judson feel that she has taken advantage of everything, and everyone says she had a good life, saying she was lucky. ·
She said that by only losing her parents, she could gain the wholehearted favor of the Roach family, and she could obtain the position of the Roach family’s young lady.
It was the Edwards family who suffered heavy losses and almost got wiped out back then, not her!
The person died.
It lost its significance.
No matter how good one’s reputation was, or how eloquently one spoke, it was only a sigh from others after a meal.
Moreover, as years go by, even the most touching stories become weak and feeble.
The deceased parents are just symbols, two numbers, which have no impact on other people’s lives.
Even became the starting point for others to mock her and look down upon her.
Lillian was like this, Ab bie was like this, and many serv ants of the Roach family were like this, as well as Judson’s secretary assistant…
It was just relying on the favor of the Edwards family…
Just a girl without parents…
Chapter 52 No One Cared (2)
What benefits could she bring to the Roach family? What could she bring to Mr. Roach?
What she wanted… was just too much!
That’s thoughtful enough. Ms. Edwards has already made a profit… One should not be too greedy…

As of today, she finally left the Roach family, leaving Judson.
Isidro, an old acquaintance of over a decade, still uses such words to belittle her.
Even a sincere and honest old man, without any ill intentions, is like
this.
What about the others?
“I have all the information Hector has, more and more than Judson has,” Rose didn’t want to say much to Isidro.
But he kept on and on, not allowing her to close the door. She just wanted to get rid of him now.
“What’s that you have?” Even Isidro joined Judson in mocking her. “Ms. Edwards, not to be rude, but even if you have that information, what can you do to Hector? Do you know what his team offered to his ex-girlfriends to turn against you? If it weren’t for Mr. Roach…”
“If it weren’t for Mr. Roach from your house, I would have beaten
Hector to death a long time ago, without all the trouble that followed.”
Rose said coldly.
It was not that she refused Judson’s affection.
But he did indeed cause her more trouble.
If he hadn’t intervened, the whole thing would have belonged only to her and Hector, as well as the power struggle behind Hector by Lillian.
She would gradually present evidence, step by step leading Hector to a dead end.
Maybe, Lillian could be brought from behind the scenes to the forefront.
From this perspective, Judson’s intervention, it is unclear whether he was helping her or protecting Lillian.
“Ms. Edwards!” Isidro was very angry, although Rose really didn’t know what he was angry about.
Perhaps she underestimated his Mr. Roach and refused to accept his kindness? Isidro was furious, like a brainless fan who had been targeted by the protagonist.
“If it weren’t for Mr. Roach, you would have been doxxed long ago, with all your information exposed!” Isidro pointed outside. “Do you know that after you were cyberbullied, Mr. Roach had people guarding your neighborhood, dealing with all sorts of troubles on your behalf? Otherwise, just relying on you…”
་་
“Could you please tell him that all of these were unnecessary?”
Rose did not argue with stu pid things.
She remained calm and composed, “Elland City, the largest economy in the country. In a society governed by the rule of law, the safety of the people does not require your concern. Go back and take care of your Mr. Roach, alright?”
Isidro was taken aback.
Rose’s tone of speech was strangely familiar…
He just spaced out.
Rose slammed the door shut.
Isidro was oblivious.
Well… Mrs. Roach just loved using this tone to deceive people, didn’t she?
Rose actually learned to speak like Mrs. Roach to scare him!
Isidro became even angrier and slammed the door loudly, “Ms. Edwards! Ms. Edwards, you have no conscience. They are paying high prices for your photos everywhere… Do you know it’s all because of Mr. Roach pressuring you!”
Rose has already called the property management.
“There was a stranger who was not a resident knocking and shouting outside my house. I called the police and they managed to drive the person away. It’s up to you to handle the situation.”
A monthly property management fee of five yuan per square meter, it’s not for fun!

At the president’s office of The Roawards Group.
Judson pinched his nose bridge and slightly relieved some fatigue.
Chapter 52 No One Cared (3)
“Mr. Roach, just now your father called and instructed you to leave work early,” Keenan came to deliver the message.
The Roach family was a bit obsessed with work.
But it is obvious that Judson’s talent surpassed his predecessor.
Everett Roach managed to hold on until nine o’clock, when he was scolded back by Mrs. Roach over the phone.
But Judson, who didn’t return to the group until nearly ten o’clock, had a tendency to stay up all night.
“Um,” Judson responded absentmindedly, “Could you please go through the evaluation that was mentioned in the meeting and organize it for me?”
He just finished a phone conference.
The meeting was originally scheduled for the afternoon.
He went to visit Maverick, but he didn’t anticipate that it would take so much time…
Keenan nodded and took on the task.
He didn’t advise either.
“Never let things pass overnight” is Judson’s creed.
Because the night was long, it was easy to have many dreams.
Keenan just sighed quietly.
12:21
After Ms. Edwards moved out of Imperial Garden, Mr. Roach practically lived in the company.
“By the way, Ms. Stewart just came over and brought some late-night snacks, they’re just outside,” Keenan casually mentioned.
Judson didn’t mind, “Hmm, you guys have worked hard by working overtime, take it out and treat everyone.”
“That Ms. Stewart…”
“Is she still here?” Judson frowned, his face filled with gloom.
Keenan could see extreme irritability and impatience in his eyes.
In fact, today Judson returned late, with the words “Keep away from strangers” written on his face.
Keenan knew how to avoid suspicion and always acted cautiously.
Sure enough, during the phone conference just now, a senior executive made a slip of the tongue and misstated a number, instantly igniting Judson’s anger.
When he scolded others, the entire conference room fell silent, and everyone was as quiet as a cicada in winter.
Even Keenan’s back was covered in cold sweat.
“Ms. Stewart has just left,” Keenan said.
But Judson still had a black face, “Do more and talk less.”

Keenan left the office and walked to the outermost reception area, shaking his head at Lillian sitting on the couch.
“Ms. Stewart, Mr. Roach was busy and unavailable for a meeting.”
Lillian pleaded with a look of desperation, “Keenan, please help me, I- I’m just worried about his health…”
But Keenan was adamant, “Ms. Stewart, another day.”
Lillian stared at Keenan without saying a word, but tears slowly welled up in her eyes.

Judson held the mouse and checked off the to-do list on the computer one by one.
When he reached the last column, his fingers paused…
After finishing this, there was nothing else to do today.
If Keenan couldn’t provide the assessment data in time, what else could he do here tonight?
Did you go back to Imperial Garden?
That empty room, now looking at it, made him feel disgusted.
Did you return to the Roach family?
It was so late that the Roach family had already gone to sleep. If he had disturbed his grandparents, they would have asked him why he had come back, why… he had come back alone.
He felt frustrated.
The night was thick with darkness, and time dripped away slowly. The empty office echoed with the sound of his heartbeat, but Judson felt no sleepiness.

Suddenly, the phone screen lit up.
When Judson saw the familiar incoming call number, his pupils suddenly dilated.
He reached out his hand, with the palm almost touching the phone, but then hesitated and stopped just above it.
Judson was a little confused, wondering if he had hallucinated…
Rose had already blocked his phone number, so how could she call him in the middle of the night?
