Chapter 26 Embarrassed
Tameka had too much to complain about her son.
She thought, “Rose didn’t break up with Judson until today.
“How did she stand him?”
Tameka felt so sorry for Rose.
“You’ve already broken up,” Tameka said coldly.
“Rose said this, the people around you said this, and all the outsiders said this, but you still insist that you don’t break up with her. You’re either fooling yourself or trying to pester her. Judson, I don’t remember I have such a shameless son.”
Judson didn’t respond.
Among the noble women in Elland City, Tameka was known for her tactfulness and high EQ.
But only Judson knew just how sharp her tongue was.
“You said she had thrown a tantrum like this in the past, though I don’t remember it… Even if it’s true, you also said if you ignored her, she would come around. Then let’s just wait for her to come around.”

“Rose, the Law Department’s staff wants to see you.” Lakisha tapped Rose on the shoulder and took a look at the draft on her computer. “Go ahead. Do it later.”
Judson sued Rose.
Darrin, who claimed to protect Rose with the whole company, eventually reneged on his word and handed over her personal information.
Lakisha had foreseen this outcome.
She looked at Rose’s departing back and shook her head.
Darrin could not protect Rose for the rest of her life, so what if she had hard evidence?
If Judson was really determined to target this fledgling girl, she would probably win the case but lose a bright future.
She would never be able to work in the media again.
And she might not be accepted by other industries.
How could a humble individual resist the Roawards Group?
Lakisha had been in Flourish Media for a few years and knew a lot of events about the company that newcomers didn’t know.
Flourish Media and the Roawards Group had a battle once.
It was a few years ago when the Roawards Group gathered other companies to besiege Flourish Media and almost shorted it.
Flourish Media paid a huge price before the Roawards Group gave up.
But even so, Flourish Media was greatly affected and almost collapsed.
It was the continued strength of the overseas division that saved the head office and brought Flourish Media back from the brink.
Darrin, at that time, was the leader of the overseas division.
He was the one who saved this top-ranked media company in the
country.
And it was Judson, the powerful young owner of the Roawards Group in Elland City, who gathered companies against Flourish Media.
Lakisha hoped that Rose could pull through and create the miracle of a nobody triumphing over a big company.
But realistically, it was likely to end with Flourish Media making Rose publicly apologize for starting the rumor, and she would possibly have to pay a huge amount of compensation.
“If I had her figure and looks,” Lakisha said, munching on a lollipop, “I
would not be a reporter when I could be a rich young man’s girlfriend.”
“Lakisha, why do you think Judson has to sue us for rumor- mon gering?”
Rose’s departure started gossip time in the department.
“Not us but Rose,” an employee hugged her arms and sighed. “What bad luck! Luckily, the writer is not me!”
“If the Roach family and the Stewart family join forces, it will raise their stock prices, so why is the Roawards Group overreacting?”
“I don’t understand. Why don’t we ask the Financial Department?”
“Lillian said it disrupted their plans. When big families form an alliance by marriage, they all want to maximize their benefits, and they may have to choose a good day…”
“That’s ridiculous! What’s the difference between saying it early and late? It’s not like she’s pregnant and can’t announce it in the first trimester!”

Rose walked into the conference room.
She saw the group of lawyers sitting across from her, as well as
Keenan.

Judson was always accompanied by Isidro and Keenan.
Isidro was Judson’s life assistant and had more contact with Rose.

“We have three requests.” Keenan wasn’t the lead attorney, but the entire negotiation was led by him. “First, Flourish Media and its entertainment section have to publicly make a solemn apology for the false news about Mr. Judson’s private life.
“Second, Flourish Media should compensate the Roawards Group and
Mr. Judson for the losses and me ntal damage caused by the rumors with 13 million dollars.
“Third, Flourish Media has to guarantee that from now on, it will never report any news about Mr. Judson’s relationships again, otherwise, it will compensate three times or more the amount of this compensation this time.”

Even if Darrin hadn’t ordered, Flourish Media’s Law Department would have wanted to drive these guys away.
The lead attorney laughed in exasperation, “The Roawards Group doesn’t seem to want to negotiate at all.”
A public apology, a compensation of 13 million dollars, and a guarantee that they would never report Judson’s relationships in the future.
Judson was going too far.
“Sorry, but we can’t agree to these three requests.”
Keenan instantly smiled, “Don’t be in a hurry. You can choose another settlement.”
