Shouldn’t Mess Up with My Hidden Heiress Ex-wife Chapter 32 by HusnaS

  1. Employees Going Missing

At Carlson’s Manor, meanwhile.

A text notification popped on Tracy’s phone. Looking inside it, the glass of juice in her hand fell to the ground and shattered.

“Did you see the photo?” Stella called her immediately. “What is your job, Tracy? Why are you neglecting your duties?”

“It’s not like that, Stella, I- I mean…” Tracy was greatly dumbfounded by that picture, she didn’t know which words to say.

Her vision clouded with anger, and after Stella’s last words, she gripped the phone until the screen cracked.

Staring at the photo again, her eyes turned crimson with jealousy.

“You do like to fool around don’t you, Heidi?” Tracy’s eyes glinted, her lips curling into a sinister smile. “Since you love trouble that much, why don’t I give you what you want?”

She pressed into the almost- unrecognizable phone, stopping at a particular contact.

“It has been long, Todd. Erm, don’t you have a fetish for married women?”

“You told me you’re single. Did you get married?” From the other end, a voice filled with drunkenness grumbled through the phone.

“Hehe, no. It’s not about me. I just happen to have a desperate friend whose husband isn’t performing well. I think you’ll like her.”

As Heidi walked into StriveStyle Co. the next morning…

The first thing that greeted her was a commotion coming from the office area.

“I need my husband! You have to bring him out! The last time he left home, he told me he was coming here!”

A hysterical woman was making a scene in the wide area.

The employees were gathered around, while the security pulled her out.

“You’re all a bunch of criminals! Where are you hiding him? My husband has been troubled for the past few weeks, then he disappeared all of a sudden. If you don’t make him return home, I am going to sue this company!”

While the woman’s yells died down as the security men led her to the elevator, Isla hurried towards Heidi.

“Ms. Olsen, you’re here.” Isla looked as if she’d found a life-saver.

There was exhaustion in her eyes, and her shoulders trembled slightly.

“Tell me what happened.” Heidi resumed walking to her office, and Isla followed.

“The disappearance of the Finance Department’s Manager isn’t a simple matter. The woman right now is his wife. I think there’s trouble on the ground. If news gets out that the employees have started to go missing

Heidi sat on her chair, rubbing her throbbing temples.

She picked up her phone and dialed Aiden. “Ninety percent of your illegal corporations were done at the Finance Department. The Manager is missing, tell me his whereabouts.”

“How should I know his whereabouts!?” Aiden yelled, making Heidi distance the phone from her ears a bit.

“Damnit! Heidi, You’ve already kicked me out of the company, what else do you want? Kicking me to the police!?”

“I only asked you a simple question.”

“Well, I don’t know!” Aiden fired back.

“Ha! Are you a detective now, taking up so many roles? What happened to the CEO of StriveStyle Co.”

Aiden continued with his provocation. ” Remember you only have a limited time. You’re so full of yourself that you think you can revive that dead company in a month! You’re only living in a bubble, Heidi. How about you save yourself the humiliation and kindly back out of the bet now!?”

Beep! Beep!

Heidi hung up, fearing Aiden’s loud voice would take the whole building down.

Whether he had a hand in it or not, her next step wasn’t going to be favorable to anyone.

“Inform the security department to involve the police.”

“Yes, Ms. Olsen.” Isla nodded, noting it down on her tablet.

“Ms. Olsen, I have contacted the models as you assigned. A lot of them turned the offer down, but we’re lucky to snag three models.”

“That’s good.” Heidi took the report, going through the models’ bio, while Isla explained the rest.

“I have booked an appointment with them. Among the models, one is an emerging model; she’s doing well currently and garnering the attention of fans. The other two are just newbies, but they have a promising future.”

“Good job, Isla. We can meet them now.”

“Uhm, Ms. Olsen, there’s a problem.
