Shouldn’t Mess Up with My Hidden Heiress Ex-wife Chapter 30 by HusnaS

31. Go Down on Her Knees And Beg for Forgiveness

If Lucas wasn’t mad before, then he was really beyond himself this time.

“What’s with that look?” Grandpa Winston narrowed his eyes. “Are you not going to take her back?”

“Grandpa, I will,” Lucas grumbled and left.

Grandpa Winston sighed and urged Heidi on, “Hurry up. It is getting very late.”

Heidi hurried after the man and caught up with him at the parking lot.

Lucas scoffed, turning around, not seeing the fist flying in his direction coming. But he dodged it on time, and Heidi punched the empty air.

“Are you crazy?” Lucas frowned.

Heidi grabbed his collar, letting out her long-suppressed anger. “You’re the crazy maniac! Lucas Harrison, don’t think I’m going to forgive you for pushing me inside the pool.”

Taken aback by her sudden attack, Lucas blinked then his features hardened.

“Do you think I’m as petty as you? I could punish you for pushing Tracy inside the pool.”

“Ha! You dared!”

“Heidi.” He grabbed her arm, blocking her attacks. “I will only warn you for the last time. Stay away from Zach Olsen.”

“You have no right to order me around, Mr. Harrison. Moreover, we are now enemies and you’re chasing after my life. Do I need to involve the authorities before you bring out my jewelry?”

“That stupid accusation again.”

“Besides that, I’ve never seen someone so ungrateful. If you’re not going to be appreciative of someone saving your life, you shouldn’t have at least endangered theirs.”

Thinking that she was speaking about the food incident, Lucas laughed sarcastically. “Even if there are three Grandpa Winstons, nothing will make me take you back. Quite dreaming, Heidi.”

“Ha! Who wants to get back together with you? If I had known that my Ex- husband Is a jewel thief, I would have long divorced you-”

“You!”

Veins popped up on his neck, and his cold eyes sent chills down her body.

Amanda’s report that the surveillance caught no such incident happening at NightBay Street that night flashed in his mind.

“If you label me with such a demeaning name again, Heidi, you’ll regret it.”

“Then prove it to me that you’re innocent. Just give me my jewelry!”

She stared at him with the same intensity, her anger on par with his own. Lucas looked inside her eyes, convinced for once that she wasn’t fabricating stories.

“Is this who you really are?” Amusement flashed in his eyes. “All those years, you’ve been pretending to be meek and docile, right?”

“Good that you know. One of my regrets is giving you the liberty to trample on me.”

“Hmph, pretentious,” Lucas snickered.

If he yelled accidentally before, his wife would break down and cry her heart out.

But this new Heidi…

He would never get used to her.

“You want the jewelry, right?” Still holding her, he snaked his strong palms around her waist, pulling her close. “Very soon, I’ll make you eat your words. Once I prove myself innocent, you’ll go down on your knees and beg for my forgiveness, Heidi.”

“You, let go of me.”

Heidi pushed him away, her heart thumping, but the man only pulled her close, making her collide into him.

At the same time, a car drove through the other gate which led to Blake Harrison’s quarters. Although very far away, the people inside the car could clearly make out the figures.

“Damnit! Isn’t that Heidi?” Stella gasped.

Blake Harrison frowned, his eyes fixed on his son who seemed to be making out with the girl.

“Father really is a cunning man. He must have set this up.”

“Ah, you have to stop them. That lowly girl is clearly seducing your son. Let’s deal with her, Honey.”

“She’s just a useless girl messing around. I no longer care about her since I’ve retrieved the jewelry.”

With that said, Blake Harrison commanded the driver to continue driving.

Stella’s body trembled with rage. She brought out her phone and secretly took a photo.

Meanwhile, Heidi finally pushed the man away after exerting all her strength.

“Lucas Harrison! You’re so despicable!” She stomped away without glancing back, her heart fuming.

Heidi left the mansion and walked down the empty street. The residential area was brightly lit up with streetlights, however, not a single taxi drove past.

Suddenly, Lucas’s car zoomed past her, the strong wind almost blowing Heidi away.

She seethed and removed one of her shoes, aiming it in the direction of his car.

The window cracked and the car came to a screeching halt.

Heidi gulped. She’d underestimated her own athletic abilities.

However, before Lucas’s car took a reverse, a taxi miraculously appeared.

“Heidi, you’ll pay for this!” Lucas called out as she jumped inside the taxi.

Heidi stuck out her tongue, making a funny face at him.

Lucas was baffled. He left his car and came to the spot she once stood.

Picking up her other shoe, his lips cracked a bit.

How childish.

Then he returned to his senses, his dark expression taking over.
