Chapter 50
Celeste continued, “dad, please listen to me. If we find a suitable
opportunity, I need you to leave this city first.”
“You can go to find Auntie Aileen. She lives alone in France, and it’s been a
while since you last visited her, hasn’t it?”
Myles shook his head, “you go with me.”
Celeste’s biggest worry was her dad’s stubbornness. He was hard to
persuade when it came to her safety.
“I still have a thing to handle… dad, only after you safely leave will I get rid
of Kendric’s threat.”
“What’s the thing you need to handle?”
Celeste leaned in and whispered a few words into his ear.
Myles pondered for a moment but ultimately decided to trust his daughter.
“Cely, if you go through with this, it’s like giving Melville family a slap on
face in public.”
He patted his daughter’s head. “You must have had a tough time in Melville
family.”
He wiped away the tears that had trickled down her cheeks. “Dad’s always here for you.”
He knew his daughter well. Despite her gentle exterior, she had a strong will. For all these years, she hadn’t uttered a single complaint to him though she had been so wrongly treated.

Redeemed From Caged Love
Chapter 50
Myles let out a deep sigh.
“I can agree with your plan, Cely. But before I leave, there’s one more thing
I need to do.”

“Where is she?” Kendric got the news as soon as Celeste arrived.
“With her father.” Mary respectfully answered.
Though she didn’t come specifically to see him, it didn’t dampen his good
mood. Perhaps his grandfather’s words last night were right as long as he treated her better, Celeste would gradually change her mind.
Kendric raised his hand and gave an order, “I’m taking Celeste to check out the wedding venue later. Make them prepared.”
He was referring to the banquet hall where the wedding was scheduled to take place that day. Mary nodded and was about to leave but was called back.
“Also, fetch the wedding rings. I’ll need them later.”
Today was a good day.
“And bring me a violin,” he added.

No one in the room knew their boss could play the violin! At least they hadn’t heard of it before.
Cade asked hesitantly, “sir, you… play the violin?”
Kendric let out a snort, “then who else could it be? You?”

Chapter 50
Celeste was informed to go to the hotel lobby.
“He didn’t mention anything specific?” she asked the waiter.
The waiter grinned and shook his head, “you’ll find out when you get
there.”
Celeste furrowed her brow, “what’s he planning again?”
She was a bit wary of Kendric’s “surprises.” The first surprise, he brought her father without any prior notice, and she had no idea what kind of stunt he was pulling this time.
Myles stood silently by her side. He was well aware of what Kendric was planning.
If Celeste hadn’t shared with him today about how Melvilles had treated her all these years, he would happily witness tonight’s proposal. However, now that he knew the truth, he realized that for his daughter, this wasn’t a proposal at all. It was a “forced marriage.”
Myles regretted discovering this too late. He regretted letting his daughter suffer for far too many years. “Come on, let’s go see what’s going on.
Celeste was unwilling to see Kendric.
Myles patted her shoulder, “don’t worry, dad’s here.”

Kendric put a lot of thought into this proposal.
Inside the black velvet box lay a diamond ring with an emerald as the centerpiece, surrounded by a circle of trapezoidal side diamonds. This ring had

a meaningful name- Eternal Love.
Cade quickly brought the violin.
Kendric tested its sound. Although he had played the violin since childhood,
this was the first time he had played it specially for someone else.
He slightly put his hand on it and played the first note.
It had to be said that the violin was the perfect instrument for a proposal.
As the melodious music filled the air, everything took on a sacred and solemn
air.
After a short performance, Kendric set down the violin and looked at Cade,
who stood beside him.
At first, Cade was stunned, but then he clapped and exclaimed, “Bravo!”

As soon as Celeste entered the hall, she immediately understood what’s Kendric’s so–called surprisé.
The wedding hall was designed in a medieval style, grand and majestic. The venue was decorated in pure white, creating an atmosphere of solemnity and elegance.
If her mood weren’t so heavy at the moment, Celeste thought, she might have genuinely liked it.
Kendric stood beneath a statue of Cupid. As Celeste walked down the aisle, he gazed deeply at her. Then, he slightly raised his chin, and the strings of the violin in his hand intertwined, producing a slow, flowing melody.
Chapter 50
Myles led Celeste, step by step, toward the end of the aisle. When the music faded, Celeste had already reached the end, and the two of them stood beneath
the statue of Cupid together.
Under the gaze of onlookers, Kendric took out the ring, “Mr. Alinsky, I hope you’ll entrust me with the care and love of your daughter, Celeste Alinsky.”
Before Celeste could offer her rejection, Myles knocked the ring off and, in
the next instant, delivered a punch right to Kendric’s face.
“You jerk!”
The fierce punch landed squarely on Kendric’s cheek, making him stagger
back two steps.
Cade moved instinctively forward, ready to take Myles down. He was
trained professionally, had lightning–quick reflexes, and could react with
agility.
But Kendric halted him, “step aside! Don’t get involved.”
Cade wore a fierce expression, and Celeste had no doubt that, had Kendric not intervened, Cade would have knocked her father down without a second thought.
He stood nearby, maintaining the highest level of alertness while keeping an eye on her father.
“Mr. Alinsky,” Kendric said in an extremely composed tone.
Myles, seething with anger, grabbed Kendric’s collar, “you dare bully my daughter!”
“What do you mean?”
Chapter 50
“You’ve got some nerves! You lured me here just to force my daughter to
marry you, didn’t you?”
“Mr. Alinsky, Celeste is my wife. Whether you come or not, it won’t change
this reality.”
