Pestered By My Young by Bella Bruno Chapter 7

Chapter 7
Sabrina’s breath hitched in her throat, and she instinctively took a step back.
After being forced back into the wardrobe, Sabrina was grabbed by Harvey before she could fall.
The familiar body fragrance and towering pressure almost devoured Sabrina and eroded her thoughts.
Sabrina couldn’t deny that Harvey’s young body was indeed fatally attractive to her. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have let him fool around.
Unfortunately, she only regarded him as a toy for her otherwise mundane life. That was all.
If Harvey crossed the line, she would feel troubled.
“Are you questioning me? What do my relationships have to do with you-”
Before Sabrina could finish her sentence, Harvey pressed his lips against hers, as if it was an act of vengeance for her words.
Harvey didn’t let go until Sabrina began to feel suffocated. Then, he suppressed the intense possessiveness in his gaze, looking at her with a pair of pure and innocent eyes in the next second. “Sabbie, I’m just a newcomer. You have a good relationship with Mr. Xavier. Can you put in a good word for me?”
Sabrina subconsciously breathed a sigh of relief. “I must be overthinking. He’s no different from those newcomers wishing to secure a better position for themselves through connections,” she thought.
Nevertheless, it was better this way, for she didn’t want any trouble.
“I see you’ve done some research. You shouldn’t trust the rumors. Calvin and I are just ordinary classmates.”
“It doesn’t matter, Sabbie. I’m not asking for much. Jacqueline is participating in a new movie called ‘Affair,’ and Mr. Xavier is an investor. I’m new to the industry and have neither the power nor the connections. It’s hard for me to even join the crew… but if I can get Mr. Xavier’s recommendation…”
Sabrina dismissed the illusion that Harvey was after her. It was clear what his purpose was.
“This is good,” she thought.
However, Sabrina’s intuition told her that the reason Harvey asked her for a role in the movie was not for resources or popularity, but to get close to Jacqueline.
“I heard Jacqueline took you to the event and took good care of you. You’d better ask for her help than ask for mine.” Sabrina didn’t believe that Clusia Entertainment would hire her for Harvey’s photoshoot twice without Jacqueline’s help. After all, he was just a newcomer.
“Jacqueline refused and said I must fight for the role myself. I’m new to the industry. I stand no chance in the audition, and I only got the cover of Grove Magazine with your help, Sabbie…” Harvey explained sheepishly, trying hard to shrink his towering figure that was six feet three inches tall. However, his eyes flashed a meaningful smile.
Harvey grasped everything right. He knew when to stop so that Sabrina wouldn’t feel appalled./
That was because Sabrina wanted a “deal” that involved no emotions.
For Sabrina, Harvey was merely a form of entertainment for her mundane life. The simpler and cleaner he was, the better.
Im sorry, but I can’t help you.” Sabrina pushed Harvey away and quietly left the room.
One of the wisest things about Sabrina since joining the industry was that she knew her position very well.
She had a clear idea about what she could and couldn’t do.
In that respect, she wouldn’t waste Calvin’s favor on someone like Harvey,
Harvey leaned against the wall, but his followed Sabrina.
eyes
As if staring at his prey, he let her loose again and again before pressing forward and flirting with her. He wanted Sabrina to fall willingly into the trap he had already woven.
It was just that he got too eager today,
Calvin asked him to go to the office, and he saw the photo on the desk.
Harvey was not an idiot. He knew what kind of person Calvin was, yet there was a photo of Sabrina on his desk.
As a man, Harvey could see through Calvin’s thoughts, but the CEO was not someone to be underestimated. “Let’s see who will win in the end,” he thought.
Meanwhile, Sabrina was buried in work. She was on site for one of Hazel Magazine’s shoots.
After leaving Clusia Entertainment that day, Sabrina went on a business trip to the bay to take some celebrity pictures by

Chapter 7
It had been a month since she finished the job and came back to the city.
During this one-month period, Harvey hadn’t contacted Sabrina, and she didn’t take the initiative to contact him either. Time faded away. Sabrina had completely forgotten the unhappiness of that day in her busy work.
She thought they would be like two parallel lines and never meet again.
After all, Harvey couldn’t gain much from her.
“Sabrina, did you get tanned during the one month you were out?” Calvin was still as straightforward as before. He said, “You look sexier.”
Sabrina rolled her eyes at him and swatted his restless hand away. “If it weren’t for your sake, I would be on vacation now.” “Okay, Brynna, I can’t even afford you now?” Calvin teased, putting his arm over Sabrina’s shoulder as if she was one of his good buddies.
Sabrina didn’t find it appropriate, for the two of them had grown up together.
“By the way, Sabrina, I hope you haven’t forgotten the bet you made during graduation,” Calvin reminded her.
“Can you stop mentioning it every time we meet? You have a fiancée!” Sabrina sighed resignedly. The agreement was that if they couldn’t find a suitable person at the age of 30, they would try to be together.
