Chapter 12
“I’m going on a business trip to Summer Island tomorrow. The Grand Dynasty show invited many people from the industry, yet you’re the only photographer invited. You’re amazing, Brynna.” Rayne called up Sabrina with the intention of getting Sabrina to join her on her business trip.
“I’m telling you, I’ve spent a lot of money this time just for you. Now choose, do you want a cruise party or a house party? The people I will invite are all newcomers, and I guarantee they’re all eye candies,” she continued.
Rayne was trying to get Sabrina to go to Summer Island with her in advance to find someone to take care of Sabrina’s sexual and emotional void.
In other words, she was planning to find a partner for Sabrina.
Rayne refused to believe that Sabrina would not feel any temptation when she was presented with rows of gorgeous young men standing in front of her.
“Ms. Lawson, do daughters of rich and prominent families like you have too much time on their hands?” Sabrina felt defeated by Rayne. “Let’s forget about the cruise and home parties…”
“Y-You!” Madison was seething with anger.
Amid her phone conversation, Harvey entered the bathroom groggily, took off his clothes, and was ready to take a shower, It was as if he was so comfortable with her that he did not regard Sabrina as an outsider at all.
It was still early in the morning, but Sabrina could already feel her blood surge. “Does this little as shole have she cursed inwardly.

manners?”
“Brynna, where are you? Is there someone at your house?” Rayne immediately perked up her ears, ready to gossip. “By the way, do you have the final say in the guest invitation for the Grand Dynasty show?” Sabrina asked in a low voice as she walked out of the bathroom. She could not be bothered by Harvey’s behavior.
“Of course,” Rayne replied smugly.
“Help me add a newcomer to the invitation list,” Sabrina said naturally with a smile.
“A newcomer? Brynna, am I dreaming? Grand Dynasty has very high standards. They’ve never invited newcomers before. I’m fine with just the two of us getting together. Why do you want to bring a newcomer to the red carpet?” Rayne thought she was dreaming. She had been close friends with Sabrina since they were young, and this was the first time Sabrina had asked for a favor.
Sabrina had great resources around her all the time, but she had never used them even once.
“Who is it?” Rayne was curious about the newcomer that Sabrina was going to recommend.
“It’s a newcomer from Clusia Entertainment. I’ve taken several photos of him and think he has great potential. He’s a gem waiting to be discovered by a big shot like you,” Sabrina praised Rayne against her own will.
“Well, it’s not impossible. Send me his name and portrait. I’ll let the organizers communicate with Clusia Entertainment.” A sly smile grew on Rayne’s face as she agreed to Sabrina’s request. Then, she added, “However, I have a condition. Let me arrange your schedule the night before the Grand Dynasty show.”
“So, if you were to ask me to jump into the sea, I’ll have to jump with no questions asked?” Sabrina laughed.
“Are you game?” Rayne had no intention of giving up.
“Okay, fine.”
Sabrina agreed since Rayne could never make her do anything she was unwilling to.
“Yes! You’re dismissed!” Rayne hung up the phone excitedly as she swore that she would find someone for Sabrina this time. Otherwise, she would fail as Sabrina’s best friend.
Looking at the phone, Sabrina smiled helplessly.
Rayne must have been so worried about her love life.
“Sabbie… There’s no hot water left.” Standing at the bathroom entrance was Harvey, wrapped in a bath towel. His hair was still dripping wet, and his upper body was covered with foam from the shower gel.
Sabrina subconsciously gulped as she moved her eyes away from him. “Indeed, the deadliest kind of flirting is the unintentional kind,” she thought.
“Sabbie, are you looking for a newcomer to keep you company?” Seeing Sabrina standing on tiptoe to check the water heater controller, Harvey took the opportunity to hug her waist. The atmosphere was indescribably dangerous.
“Were you eavesdropping on me?” Sabrina frowned. “This is not a good sign,” she thought.
“I happened to hear you talking when I came in.” Harvey’s eyes darkened as he pinched Sabrina’s waist. He asked, “Am I still

not doing enough, Sabbie? Why are you looking for someone else?”
As she realized that the hot water valve was turned off deliberately, Sabrina felt her head throbbing. She wondered if this boy’s brazen behavior was due to her spoiling him too much.
It’s not up to you!
Even though their relationship would not last for a long time, she felt that she must establish rules before things got out of control. Otherwise, she would have a headache by then.
She had no desire of leaving any hidden dangers in the future.
“You don’t seem to know your position. We are both in a consensual relationship that benefits us mutually. Do you understand?” Sabrina turned around and looked at Harvey calmly. If he were still unclear about his position, then it would be best for them to split up so that both parties could carefully consider the relationship.
After all, a long-term relationship was no child’s play. If they were to get along well, she might consider dating him.
“Hold on, how did I come up with such a terrible idea?” Sabrina was startled by her own thinking.
Harvey’s face fell for a moment, and there was a trace of iciness in his eyes.
Then, Harvey smiled and pulled Sabrina into his arms again. “Sabbie… I’m sorry.”
Sabrina sighed and wondered, “Am I being too sensitive? I guess I was a bit too stern just now.”
He always managed to apologize just as she was about to get angry. Harvey had always been so considerate that it felt a little scary to her.
His attitude somehow made Sabrina wonder if she went too far every single time.
After all, Harvey was much younger than Sabrina, so she thought his rebellious behavior was reasonable.
“Harvey, I don’t have much to give you, but since I’ll be going on a business trip for a while, you can take this time to consider if we must continue this kind of entanglement properly.”
Sabrina had always been capable of thinking calmly and rationally about anything, including sexual relationships. Harvey’s eyes turned icy, but he still nodded obediently.
Sabrina inexplicably felt a chill down her spine. In fact, she dared not look into Harvey’s eyes.
Sabrina could feel herself being pressured by an intimidating aura from Harvey. Perhaps their height difference gave her the illusion, but it felt like an icy atmosphere had enveloped her.
