Jackson simply ignored Serenity’s request. Instead, he pulled her hand closer and gazed down, studying the bruise on the back
of her hand.
Jackson then pulled the back of her hand closer and blew gently.
Serenity gasped and stared at Jackson as he gently blew on her bruise with all seriousness.
“It’ll be better after I blow the pain away,” Jackson hushed, his fingertips gently rubbing the bruise on the back of her hand. He was blowing the pain away as if performing a serious task.
Serenity’s heart was thundering hard, and she choked on her unspoken words, unable to say anything
Serenity treated Jack and Jackson differently, Jack would be a caring brother for doing this, but Jackson. Serenity was overwhelmed, not knowing what to do.
The bodyguard standing behind Jackson was shocked. His eyes went wide as he watched this scene. He had never seen Mr. Valor treat a woman like this! He thought that maybe Serenity would become known throughout Solaria before long!
“Feeling better?” His gentle and melodious voice rang in her ears.
“Y-yes. Much better,” Serenity responded, trying to withdraw her hand for the third time.
Even so, Jackson held her wrist firmly. He carefully avoided the bruise on the back of her hand. “You know it hurts, so be good. If I’m not careful, I’ll hurt you again.”
Serenity flushed uncontrollably. His voice and words sounded suggestive.
In the end, they continued holding hands all the way to his Bentley
The driver opened the door respectfully, and Jackson and Serenity then got into the
car.
“We still have time today. Let’s not go back so early, Sis. Is there anywhere you want to go?” Jackson asked
Serenity shook her head. With him by her side, there was nowhere she would want to go.
“Then let’s find a place nearby for a stroll. By the way, I miss the time you took me to the night market and shopping malls.” Jackson smiled with nostalgia.
‘That was one of the most idiotic things I’d ever done!’ Serenity thought to herself. She had been saving money to buy him clothes and a new cell phone, but it turned out to be unnecessary. He did not need them at all.
Was she just a joke to him at that time?
Jackson had the driver park the car in front of a nearby mall, and Serenity recognized the place. It was the same mall they had visited before.
Jack had said that he had received his wages, so they had gone to the mall and dined in a restaurant. She had even tried to save him money and order as little as possible. Thinking back on, she realized her actions had been completely unnecessary.
This time, Jackson led her to the same restaurant as before.
“Want to go in and get something to eat?” he suggested.
She bit her lip and finally agreed, “Fine!” Then, she strode in
The two found a seat, and when the waiter handed over the menu, Serenity took the menu and ordered all sorts of expensive dishes on it.
The waiter quickly noted down her orders. He could not help frowning as she continued ordering wastefully. She had ordered too much food. The two of them simply could not finish them all. Were they here to make trouble?
Jackson had a doting smile the whole time. He watched Serenity ordering all the food she wanted, not aware of the indulgence in his eyes.
Serenity ordered about two dozen dishes in one go, and when she looked up, she was met with Jackson’s smiling eyes.
