“You also said she got into trouble because she was looking for you. We haven’t divorced yet, and I can perceive her action as you two having an affair. In other words, she’s the other person in our marriage.” Cynthia’s words were direct.
She believed the person who caused trouble should be punished by the law, but she would not pity or sympathize with Jayleen.
Joshua’s gaze was cold.
Cynthia was not affected by his presence and continued, “She got into trouble, and you bear the responsibility.”
If Joshua had divorced her when he received that call, he would have married Jayleen as soon as she returned, and there would be no need for an agreement.
He was scum, yet he put the blame on her.
Joshua stared at her for a long time and finally uttered, “The biggest regret of my life is thinking that you were as understanding as her and marrying you.”
Cynthia retorted, “Funny, the biggest regret of my life is marrying you.”
With a chilling gaze, Joshua got up and left the cafe. The moment he left, he called Yoel to book his
return ticket.
Cynthia heard it all.
She was in a foul mood.
Before this, she thought she had no more feelings for Joshua and could be completely calm, but she just realized that some people need a long process to forget the past and move on.
After watching Joshua leave, Cynthia made a phone call.
Six o’clock in the evening.
Blue Friday Bar, a pub that belonged to Jimmy.
He was excited when Cynthia called him, but he felt slightly nervous when he heard her ask him to
accompany her.
The lighting in the bar’s private room was dim, and Cynthia had a table full of drinks in front of her.
Seeing these drinks, Jimmy felt a little scared. He gulped and tentatively asked, “Cynthia, we can’t drink all of these by ourselves. Should I call our friends over?”
“No need,” Cynthia refused.

Jimmy swallowed the remaining sentence when he noticed her gaze, not telling Cynthia that their friends already knew about her marriage and divorce from Joshua.
Cynthia did not want them to know as she knew their personalities well.
She wanted her marriage and divorce to be quiet.
“What’s wrong?” Cynthia asked.
“Nothing.” Jimmy quickly backed off.
Cynthia opened bottle after bottle of alcohol and handed one to Jimmy. “Here.”
“Cynthia…”
“What is it?” Cynthia was not in the best mood.
Jimmy bit his lip. It was tough to keep a secret, and he decided to take the risk and tell her.
“There’s something I haven’t told you.”
“Go on.”
“They already know about your situation with Joshua,” Jimmy said, and Cynthia’s drinking came to a
halt.
Jimmy started sweating as Cynthia’s presence was simply terrifying!
“When you told me not to tell them, they were right next to my computer…and it was too late to keep it a secret,” Jimmy weakly spoke, feeling nervous.
Cynthia’s eyes flickered, and her voice was soft. “What was their reaction?”
“They beat me up!” Jimmy sighed. “They said you were being biased, keeping secrets from them and only telling me.‘
Cynthia pursed her red lips, and her eyes showed complex emotions. She tightened her grip on the
bottle in her hand.
“Cynthia…” Jimmy was a bit worried.
“I’ll meet up with them after I get the divorce certificate. I’ll talk to them about it then,” she said. shakily. Cynthia was not in a good mood.

“Probably not…this month,” Jimmy said.
“What do you mean?” Cynthia asked.
“They’re probably not available. Some have planned trips with their girlfriends, some are meeting up with online friends, and others are going to visit their significant other’s parents,” Jimmy replied.
Cynthia was surprised.
“Don’t you know?” Jimmy asked.
“What should I know?” Cynthia was confused.
“Of our seven dwarfs, only Mitchell, Gaby, and I are still single. The rest are secretly dating, like you. You got married!” Jimmy complained.
Jimmy’s emotions grew more and more intense as he spoke.
Then, he remembered that Cynthia was getting a divorce and felt bad. “Cynthia, I…‘
Sob, sob, sob.
He was hitting Cynthia’s sore spot again.

“Did they really start dating?” Cynthia’s previous emotions vanished, and she became a different
person.
“Didn’t you see the group messages?” Jimmy asked.
Cynthia shook her head.
She did not spend much time on her phone and only occasionally checked the group, where they mostly gossiped. However, she was uninterested in those and only checked when someone mentioned or messaged her directly.
Very few times did she open the group messages in her spare time.
“Just three months after you left the Nexuria for Jiverton, they all started dating, one after another. Didn’t we promise to be friends forever and never date?!” Jimmy said, still resentful.
Cynthia put her drink on the table and stood up. “Let’s not drink anymore.”
“Huh?” Jimmy was confused.
“Don’t you like motorsports?” Cynthia’s mood improved again. “I’ll take you to the racing track.”
Jimmy was shocked. “Really?!”
“Mmhmm.” Cynthia’s lips curved into a smile.
“Wow!” Jimmy stood up and hugged Cynthia, excited beyond words. “Cynthia, you’re my hero!”

Cynthia pushed his forehead, trying to get him to back off.
She never wanted their group to know about her divorce from Joshua.
The main reason was that they promised not to get married for life, and she did not want them to avoid marriage because of her failed marriage.
Some people were worth it.
Fortunately, all of them found someone they liked.
That evening, Jimmy went with Cynthia to Nexuria’s dedicated racing track.
It was different from those racing tracks because it was set up specifically for the privileged few. In fact, this place was an entertainment center for national and even world–renowned racers. Of course, many people wanted to come in and watch the races, but not everyone could.
Cynthia was well–known here, so it was easy for her to bring anyone in and even let Jimmy have the
best view.
They watched several races together, and when it was over, Jimmy took a picture and posted it on his social media with the caption, [Ahhh, Cynthia brought me to see the races!]
As soon as he posted it, there were comments underneath.
Shirley commented, [Unfair! Cynthia actually brought you but not me! Hmph!]
Mitchell commented, [She didn’t participate, right?]
