The news of the famous voice actress ‘Magnifique‘ coming to do voiceovers for the recent animated movie spread like wildfire. Everyone was eager to catch a glimpse of her. During their free time, most of the company’s employees gathered around the recording studio just to see her.
“Cut!”
As the director shouted to stop, Magnifique walked out of the recording studio. At that moment, Antonio played the recorded sound over the speakers. As the sound played, everyone could immediately visualize the movie scenes. The way the sound was portrayed felt like a divine presence, as if it wasn’t just crafted but the character’s original voice. The room erupted into applause as the sound ended. Everyone was impressed by how beautifully she brought the character to life with her
voice.
Daniel was the first to approach Magnifique. “Welcome back to the world of theater, Magnifique,” he said, extending his hand for a handshake, which she accepted with a smile.
“Thank you, Mr. Daniel,” Madison replied, beaming with gratitude at her teacher’s praise.
“You truly are the world’s best voice actor. I’m so impressed by you!” someone said.
“Magnifique, my goddess, let me worship you!” another person
“You’re not human. You’re a goddess, the goddess of sound.”
“You are the chosen one.”
exclaimed.
The enthusiastic atmosphere also ignited Madison, making her realize that achieving something was a joyful experience. She recognized how much she had missed this part of her life.
Marvin was in the recording studio, chatting with Mr. Daniel. He still held hope that Mr. Daniel could convince Magnifique to consider returning to film and television instead of staying behind the scenes.
He believed she had more potential than just doing voice overs.
“Marvin, I’ll definitely try to persuade her, but you know the decision to enter the industry ultimately rests with the actors themselves. We can’t interfere too much. Besides, her current identity isn’t suitable for public appearances. We’re trying to avoid any scandals that could affect her and the company,” Mr. Daniel explained.
“That’s true, but Mr. Daniel, you…‘
Before Marvin could finish, the receptionist hurriedly approached. “Mr. Marvin, Ms. Maya is here.”
“She’s here?! What for? We don’t have any shoots today.”
“I don’t know, but she doesn’t seem to be in a good mood,” the receptionist replied.
Marvin quickly headed over. After all, Maya was a big star, and if he didn’t treat her well, it could
jeopardize the lead role in the new film.

“Ms. Magnifique, thank you for being here!”
Marvin glanced at Bluebell with a sense of regret before leaving. Upon arriving at the office and seeing Maya, he greeted her with a kiss on her hand.
“Ms. Maya, do you know why I’m here?!” Isabella raised her head proudly, addressing the director.
“Ms. Maya, you’re joking. Even if you hadn’t come to me, I would have visited you. The only role left for the new movie was the lead, and we had a late–night meeting last night. You’ve got the lead role,
Jenny.”
Truthfully, during the meeting last night, Marvin couldn’t shake the thought of Magnifique, even though everyone was recommending Maya. He knew that if Magnifique were to act, even in a supporting role, it would significantly boost the box office sales, given her exceptional acting skills. But she had declined to act, which was a major disappointment for an accomplished director.
“When will the announcement be made? We’ve been getting numerous offers for Maya’s appearances lately. If it weren’t for the excellent script you have this time, we wouldn’t have come today,” Maya’s assistant inquired.
Downstairs, Magnifique had already re–recorded the two short segments as per Mr. Daniel’s suggestions. After bidding farewell to everyone following the recordings, she was about to leave. However, when she reached the lobby, Maya, on the upper floor, spotted her.
“Why is she here?” Maya exclaimed.
Marvin followed Maya’s gaze. “You know her?”
“Magnifique?! That’s impossible. Are you saying she’s Magnifique?”
Everyone in the film industry knew Magnifique. Many actors wanted her for voice overs, and Maya was one of them. However, Magnifique remained a mystery, with no known information about her
online.
“Yes, she’s the voice actress we recently signed for our company. Ms. Maya, do you know her?” Marvin inquired, noticing Maya’s intense gaze toward Magnifique, suggesting she might have a personal connection with her.
Maya recalled seeing a trending topic online a few days ago about Magnifique doing voiceovers for a
new film.
“I don’t know her,” Maya replied, averting her eyes. “She just looks like a friend of mine.” Her voice carried disappointment and anger. The realization that Madison was Magnifique made her feel small
and inferior.
Making the mistress aware of her inferior position was one of the worst feelings, and Madison had
achieved that.
“Mr. Marvin, I’m not feeling well. You can discuss the contract and everything else with my assistant. I’ll leave now,” Maya said abruptly, not waiting for Marvin’s response, and departed, leaving even

her assistant slightly startled.
Maya hurried downstairs as Madison was walking toward her car.
“Madison!”
Madison turned to see Maya.
“I’m not sure whether to call you or Madison,” Maya sneered.
“I don’t have time for this,” Madison said, opening her car door and ignoring Maya.

“Don’t you dare turn your back on me! Do you know who I am?” Maya yelled, throwing her purse on the floor. Her face turned red, losing all composure.
“Careful, Maya. The last thing you need is a paparazzi catching you like this. I’d hate to read the headlines tomorrow: ‘Maya loses composure because of her envy for Magnifique‘,” Madison giggled, enjoying Maya’s reaction.
“Me?! Envy you? Do you know who I am?”
“You’re my husband’s mistress, and nothing more. Anything else I’m missing?”
“Madison…”

“Now, listen here, Maya. This better be the last time we cross paths. In public, I don’t know you don’t know me. Are we clear?” Madison felt victorious, finally putting Maya in her place. She had been waiting for this opportunity for a long time. With a victorious smile, she got into her car.
“I’ll tell Ethan,” Maya called out.
“By all means, please do. I think you’ve forgotten your place, Maya. In the end, I’m the legal wife, and you’re nothing but a mistress.” With those words, Madison drove off, leaving an infuriated Maya
behind.
