10 Twist and turns
I walked quickly down the hospital hallway pacing as fast as my legs could carry me.
“I’m here to see Madam Olivia, what room is she in?” I asked before sighting our family doctor walking down the aisle.
She had been the family doctor for years and knew everything about mom’s health, regularly checking up on her when needed. I ran towards her and questioned about mother’s health
“What happened to her suddenly? I thought you said she was fine and that her health is stable now so what happened all of a sudden?”
“Miss Madison, please take things easy, she had a panic attack due to stress but her health is stable now. She just needs to take things easy and she’ll feel better in no time.”
She walked away after dropping Mom’s file on the table.
“Room 4c on the left. The nurse quickly said fearing I would question her violently again.
Ethan was already there; the swine didn’t have the spine to inform me earlier or pick me up at the registry but was sitting beside the bed like a loyal son watching over his dainty mother like a drama king.
“She’s asleep, the doctors said to allow her rest for now so we’ll go home soon enough.” He didn’t look in my eyes one bit whilst saying everything, everything I didn’t ask him.
I slumped into the couch tired from everything that had happened the previous night and earlier this morning, I closed my eyes and began reminiscing on everything that happened the night before. It started off like one of those interesting nights in those romance movies but ended on a spoiled tone.
A punch had separated that coon from me. The silhouette of the deliverer seemed familiar but he was clad in all black clothes and face cap. He pounced on James and violently punched him while I stood still very much in shock about what just happened.
The security guards ran in and began separating the hero from the villain and cuffing James to take
him away.
“Thank you very much for saving me, how can I repay you?”
“Just get in the car, I need to leave this place and leave the car. I’ll send someone to pick it up.”
“Ethan!” I scowled excitedly and ran to hug him but on second thoughts I let myself loose from his grip and dropped my smile. “How did you find me?” I said, looking surprised.
“I stalked you and thankfully I was able to save you. What was he trying to do to you? Did he hurt you?”
Ethan seemed really caring pulling my hands in and giving me a tight hug before I could say anything

he planted a kiss in my lips and proceeded to sweep his tongue all through my mouth, he pulled his lips out and looked me in the eye
“I told you he was no good for you” he said rubbing my hands and checking out the marks his grip left on me. “Come let’s make a formal report at the police station.”
“What will you say? That your legally married wife was attacked by her date at a bar? That doesn’t sound odd to you? Let’s just get going”
I got into his car and sat down angrily waiting patiently for him to join me and strapped my seatbelt tightly.
I tried my best to ignore the fact that he just kissed me touching my lips and taking a tiny lick.
He hopped in and started the engine but didn’t move the car instead he leaned in closely and planted a kiss on my lips this time I didn’t pull away, I pulled him in and we stayed their hands on face, lips on tongue, hands running down my thighs in the quest for a lustful pleasure.
“Let’s get home.” I said, pulling my lips apart and settling calmly in my seat.
“Do you want dinn—“the housekeeper had muttered before stopping in her tracks at the sight of both the boss and madam clenched in a tight romantic hug and kissing passionately by the doorway much to her surprise.
“Let’s go upstairs” I muttered before he lifted me up and walked briskly up the staircase, we got to the room and in a matter of minutes our clothes were all off and we took turns savoring each other’s
bodily fluids before falling back into our spaces on the bed.
“I love you so much. Treally do and I’ve struggled to express it but I know deep down in my heart that I love you. I’ve made many mistakes these past months including getting back with Maya…”
“Just cut the crap and stop trying to emotionally blackmail me, I will no longer fall for it. Let us both forget about everything that just transpired between and quicken our divorce process.” I said affirmatively, while making my way butt naked to the bathroom to wash off his touch on me, our hour of intense pleasure had ended on a sour tone and I sat on the floor thinking about it while itching my scalp like a drug addict.
“Do you think I don’t love you?” Ethan had slid open the door and gotten into the stall with me baring his loins without care in my presence.
“I don’t think it, I know it that you don’t love me in fact you’ve never loved me but only used me tonight for your own pleasure”
“What is that meant to mean?” He asked furrowing his brows and getting up “so you didn’t enjoy it? Did I do anything wrong?”
“Enough with the act already it’s getting disgusting, just meet me tomorrow at the divorce court and let’s get this done already.”
“You want a divorce so bad? I would give it to you just to make you happy. But remember you have always shut me out emotionally and you’re still doing that today.”

By the time I got out of the shower, he was gone from the room, he picked up his two phones and I guess he took out some clothes as well.
I got a message from him telling me he would meet me at the court tomorrow morning so we can dissolve our marriage, my mind was made up and there was no going back.
The drive to the court was long but it wasn’t as long as my days in a loveless marriage and I’m happy
the marriage is coming to an end.
I got there at 9am sharp, there I sat and waited for hours expecting Ethan to show up but he didn’t. I called him furiously and didn’t wait to hear from the other side
“You are a slippery slimy snake and a liar. Why the twists and turns? Why are you toying with my feelings?
First you claim not to love me and now that I’m asking for a divorce you keep refusing and bringing up excuse….”
“Olivia is terribly sick so I rushed to the hospital and forgot about our meeting. I’m sorry, please come to our family hospital.”
I kept wondering if he was lying but I believe it now that she’s lying opposite me at the hospital using
a ventilator.
