Chapter 30
The night pa**ed.
The next day.
Hugh woke up from the cold.
He opened his eyes dizzily and felt very uncomfortable.
His head and stomach ached. His limbs were cold.
Then, Hugh found himself shrinking on a mattress. There was nothing on it. Under him was the plastic film.
Hugh wondered, “I remember that I was drinking with Chad and the others last night. Who put me here?”
Hugh instantly sat up and made sure it was his room. When he saw Mira, who was sleeping comfortably on the floor and covered by his quilt, Hugh was pissed off.
He thought, “Good. She is sleeping well.”
Hugh walked over anxiously, barefoot. He pulled back the quilt. “Mira, you…”
Hugh’s angry words stopped abruptly
Mira slept on the sky–blue sheet. Her cheeks were ruddy, and her white top had a few buttons unbuttoned, revealing her fair skin and cute collarbones.
Last night, when Mira got wet, Hugh could tell she wore underwear. But now, he was sure that Mira wasn’t wearing any.
40 Vouchers
Hugh looked down. Mira’s top rolled up, revealing her slender waist and cute belly button.
Somehow, Hugh felt his body became hot.
He thought, “Damn it! I must have drunk too much last night!”
Hugh pulled the quilt over Mira in annoyance.
What could he do to that enchanting girl? Nothing.
Being disturbed, Mira rubbed her eyes drowsily, yawned, and sat up. “Good morning.”
Hugh sneered, “I don’t feel good. Because you took my quilt.”
Mira was awake. She blinked her eyes. “But you wouldn’t give me a quilt last night. You left me no choice. I didn’t want to catch a cold.”
“Weren’t you worried that I would be sick?” Hugh looked angry.
Mira looked at Hugh as if he was a moron. “Do you expect me to put your feelings before mine?”
Hugh didn’t know how to respond.
He thought, “Yes. Is there a problem?
“I’m Hugh Leopold. Everybody puts my feelings first.”
Mira said, “It won’t happen unless I fall in love with you. Do you want me to love you?”
“Of course not.”
Hugh replied with a cold face. Then, he went to the bathroom to take a shower.
Chapter 30
45 Goucher
Then, Hugh suddenly realized that he put the bath towel into the washing machine after the shower last night.
So, now, Hugh had no bath towel or clean clothes.
After hesitating for a few seconds, Hugh said, “Mira.”
“What?”
Hugh answered, “Get me a new bath towel from the drawer in the locker room. And my pajamas, too.”
Mira walked to the door quickly and laughed, “Okay, only if you beg me.”
It was silent for a while.
Hugh squinted his eyes slightly.
“You need my help, so you’d better be grateful. I’m not your maid. What should you say?” Mira taught Hugh manners personally outside the bathroom.
Hugh’s anger, which had been held back for a morning, burst out.
“Fine. I don’t need your help. I’ll get them myself.”
Mira heard a snap.
The bathroom door suddenly opened. Hugh swaggered out.
Mira was dumbfounded. She suddenly opened her eyes wide. Mira had seen a lot of things, but she hadn’t seen this before.
Mira didn’t expect Hugh to be so shameless.
