Hugh suspected that Paige was also aiming at Oliver’s money.
Oliver explained, “Hugh, it’s not what you think. I have asked around. Every day, there is a music student working part–time in this coffee shop. The students who should be here on Wednesday took a leave. Therefore, the owner of this coffee shop plays the piano herself today.”
“Fine. Since you like her, just tell her.” Hugh took a sip of the coffee. He raised his eyebrows and had to admit that it tasted good.
Oliver stood up and was going to walk to Paige when the doorbell suddenly rang.
A good–looking and elegant man walked in.
“Allen.” Oliver hurriedly waved his hand.
Hearing Oliver’s voice, Allen looked over and was surprised for a moment. Then, he walked over. “What a coincidence.”
Hugh smiled, “Yes. Allen, when did you come back? Why didn’t you tell us?”
Allen shook hands with them, smiling. “I came back half a year ago and have been busy. We must have a meal together the other day. My treat.”
Zackary said warmly, “Why don’t we eat tonight? Would you like to have supper later?”

After saying that, Allen left with his arm around Paige’s waist.
Watching them leave, Hugh frowned. He found Paige’s name familiar but couldn’t remember where he had heard it.
Suddenly, Oliver whined, “Oh, no! My life sucks. Why is she my cousin’s wife?”
Chad patted Oliver on his shoulder with mercy.

He felt sorry for Oliver.
Oliver and Allen were cousins. However, when Oliver was young, Allen brought him a lot of pressure.
Oliver fell behind Allen at school. Oliver wasn’t a good student, while Allen skipped from the seventh grade to the ninth grade, skipped the second grade in high school, and then went to study abroad.
In the Duncan family, Oliver’s parents often said, “Oliver, can’t you learn from Allen? You two are cousins. How come he is so much better than you?”
Oliver grew up under the circumstances. Oliver’s first crush liked Allen and made use of Oliver. Moreover, the girl went abroad for Allen and married Allen.
Now, when Oliver was finally in love again, it turned out the woman was Allen’s wife.
That was a big tragedy.
Even as heartless as Hugh felt sorry for Oliver. “I remember that Allen was married to Yasmin Shawn. When did they get divorced?”
Oliver twitched his mouth. “Last year. I heard that to get her green card, Yasmin leaked Allen’s academic achievements to his competitor.”
