Chapter 154 Let’s Have a Baby
Erin woke up naturally at 8 am the following morning, and she immediately noticed that she was alone. She got up without sleeping in. She was wearing the dress she put on last night but had nothing underneath.
Recalling everything that happened last night, Erin fell angry and embarrassed. She felt her cheeks burn, but she could not think about it anymore. She had to hurry off to the set as she had a shoot that morning itself!
After she washed herself up, she went to the walk–in closet and picked some clothes that suited her. In any case, all the clothes were her size, and she could not care too much about it either!
As she was heading downstairs to the living room after getting dressed, she saw Chandler sitting on the couch at first glance, looking right at her.
Chandler was wearing a dark gray suit that was tailored with a pristine white shirt underneath. His crimson tie had two small letters delicately embroidered, representing the Frost Corporation. Those shiny, fashionable handmade black leather shoes could be seen as he stood up. With every move he made, he simply looked like an A–list actor walking the red carpet at an international film festival. Erin, who deliberately wanted to avoid his gaze, could not help but be attracted to him.
Chandler walked elegantly toward the wooden spiral stairs and watched every step Erin took as she came down.
There was nobody else other than the two of them in the living room.
Chandler’s dark eyes were unfathomable. In the instant that he looked down, he came to a decision. When he looked up at her once again. he said calmly, “Erin, I promise you I won’t marry Alana.”
Erin stopped in her tracks. There were only ten steps in between them at that moment.
Step by step, he walked up the stairs until there was only one step left between them. Even so, he was still taller than Erin.
Her heart kept pounding and a sense of elation washed over her, so much so that she did not even dare to voice out her question.
A faint smile reached Chandler’s deep gaze. He lifted her delicate chin with his finger and said, “Are you happy with that?” He looked more
or less like he was compromising a little.
Erin asked softly. “What about your grandfather? How are you going to explain to him?”
Chandler brushed the tip of her nose lightly with his index finger and said. “Silly, of course, I’ll think of a way to make my grandfather like you. After he accepts you, my father won’t be a problem anymore.”
Erin lit up like radiant fireworks. She was so excited, her eyes turned red. Feeling touched, tears streamed down her face.
Chandler wiped off her tears gently. “Don’t cry. Let me face all the problems.” 1
Then, he opened his arms and pulled her into his embrace.
She cried carefully, afraid that she was dreaming. Chandler was still stubborn, and unreasonable, even, last night. However, he changed
overnight.
Erin suddenly looked up at him. “I won’t let you face them alone! I will always be with you!”
A charming, attractive smile appeared on his face. “Do you really like to act?”
Erin was taken aback. She asked her seriously if she would want to be an actress without Chandler. This was a brand–new career completely different from the industries she had been in before, filled with an uncharted sense of novelty.
Almost half a minute later, she answered seriously, “I really want to try a new field!”
Chandler let out a barely noticeable sigh and said, “Since you like it, I’ll support you. But I have a request.”
“Don’t worry! I absolutely won’t do intimate scenes!” Erin raised her hand to swear, beating him to the punch to make her stance clear.
Chandler looked satisfied. “How clever of you.” He then squinted and added, “If you dare to flirt with another man in the future. I’ll give you a harsh punishment.”
She smacked his naughty hand away.
“You’re so annoying! I’m not going to talk to you anymore! I have a shoot later, so I’m going to leave now!” Erin broke herself free from his

embrace.
He watched as she went downstairs in high spirits. The apricot leather heels perfectly showcased her glowing and healthy complexion.
He felt a sense of longing as he watched her back, so he called out to her, “Erin.”
Erin turned around in place and looked up at him, and her eyes were overllowing with happiness.
Chandler walked calmly down the stairs, came up to her, and said in a slightly apologetic tone. “Before my grandfather officially accepts you, our relationship can’t be made public. I hope you can understand.”
She nodded. “I understand!”
He looked a little helpless. “I’m sorry about that.”
The fact that Chandler went out of his way to comfort her made Erin feel touched but also a little unfamiliar. It was as if these words that
sounded ordinary should not have come out of his mouth. However, Erin did not think too much about it. She just smiled and said, “I’ll wait
for you.”
His perfect lips curled into an exceptionally beautiful smile. Putting one hand on her face, he pressed his lips against hers.
It was hard for them to part, but he was the first to break away from her. Looking at her lips, Chandler smiled and wiped off the lipstick stain at the corner of her lips with his thumb. “I’m sorry. Your makeup is smudged.”
Just as Erin wanted to take out the small mirror in her purse to have a look, Chandler wrapped his arm around her waist and said while
walking toward the right. “Touch up your makeup in the bathroom.”
After Erin entered the bathroom, Chandler stood at the door and texted Kyle, “Get the papers for Erin to go abroad done as soon as
possible.”
Ten minutes later. Chandler ushered Erin into a specially customized van. Before the door was closed, he held her hand and sat on the
comfortable and spacious seat with her.
*Erin, I’ve specially customized this van abroad for you. You don’t have to ride in Roman’s van anymore in the future. This van is protected. Compared to the past, being with me will be more dangerous.” Chandler looked slightly concerned. He could not take any risk with her.
She was touched that he was thoughtful and meticulous, and she cried once again. He told her last night he did not support the idea of
her being an actress, but he secretly got a van arranged for her.
Chandler was quietly fulfilling the promise he made to her back then. He said he would support her being an actress.
“Chandler, thank you for everything you’ve done for me.”
He wiped off her tears again. “If you cry anymore, your makeup is going to smudge again.”
“Chandler, why are you so good to me? I’m not the prettiest or most clever, and I’m so poor. Could it be that you’re really treating me as your Cinderella?”
Erin started to lose confidence. She felt anxious that her boyfriend was treating her better and better. She even started to question how a
divorcée like her deserved to have such an outstanding man.
Her indirect compliment to Chandler made him smile arrogantly. “You have great self–awareness, which is awesome! You have to be good
and do as I say in the future, then. Got it?”
Erin pursed her lips and said. “As long as it doesn’t go against my principles and limits, I can do as you say
Upon saying that, she hung her head low. It was hard, even for hersell, lo accept that she had become such a meek woman. However,
even if it was a trap Chandler had set up, she was willing to jump right into it at that moment.
Chandler’s gaze deepened, and he took the opportunity lo say, “Erin, let’s have a baby! I don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl, I’ll love the child as long as it’s ours. I’m not that young anymore. It’s time for me to have a child. I also hope my grandfather could meet his great–grandchild. while he’s still alive. You said you’re going to face everything with me. Are you willing to bear my child?”
His tone was so gentle and sincere that for a moment, Erin could not say anything to reject him.
If they truly were to continue being together, getting married and having a child would be the next step, would it not?
However, she was still just his secret girlfriend at that moment. Therefore, Erin still had plenty of concerns.
Frowning a little, she asked carefully. “Chandler, it’s not that I’m not willing to have a child with you It’s just that I haven’t thought about. it. Also, your family still hasn’t accepted me. Do you really wish for me to get pregnant under such circumstances?”
Chandler held her hand calmly and kissed her back of it deeply like a promise and also a ceremony. Then, he said seriously. “If you’re willing, we’ll have our first child in such circumstances. I believe after you’ve really gotten pregnant, my grandfather and father will change. their impression of you. Promise me, don’t take any birth control anymore from now on, alright?”
