That spoon was mine to take. With trembling hands, she scooped up some soup and tasted it. For some reason, nothing has any flavor for me. I just drank it quietly.
Ting!
I scanned the area, looking for my phone. It had been placed on the table. I initially positioned the tray appropriately on the small table in the center of my room. I get the phone off the table. So, I decided to go back to sleep. Check who texted me.
From: Unknown
I’m glad that you’re awake.
W-what? Just how did he figure out that I was awake? Simply put, who are you? Is this the person my mother was chatting with? Is there something keeping you from formally introducing yourself to me?
To: Unknown
Who are you, exactly? You’re giving me some goosebumps. It’s not really okay.
Ting!
From: Unknown
Don’t mind me, but take care of yourself always, please.
Whatever. Unless you identify yourself, I have no way of helping you. After using it, I was ready to set the phone down when it rang.
Tabs Calling…
A witch’s voice may be heard in the dead of night. I answered her call.
“What was the reason you were called?” I said
“Yes, stay away from me. Not that part, please. Hihi. Okay, that’s enough of that. I’m on the phone with my faithful best friend.” She responded as if she were speaking to a different person.
There’s no doubt about it; the girl is back at the bar. There’s another guy with him. Their screams are audible. There was complete silence on the other side except for the two of them, so I do not doubt that they are currently enjoying themselves in the VIP section.
“Are you drunk, Brianna Mariel?” This really irritates me.
“No! Just a little tipsy, my friend. May I ask if you could get in touch with Mark? You should inform him that I need him to come here immediately. Same bar. Same room.”
I refuse to do what you say. Mariel, I won’t stand by and watch as my other best friend suffers because of you. We can’t afford to repeat that mistake. Put an end to this nonsense, and I’ll show you the way home safely. Stay. You must not run away.” The call is over, and I hang up.
Sorry, I haven’t been feeling well lately, but sure. Since nobody would dare send that drunk home, I have no choice but to do this.
As soon as I was able, I went out of bed and changed into some clothing. walking into the restroom and deciding to wash up. When he was done, he changed into his clothes. In other words, I haven’t gotten around to fixing it. After emerging from the house, I went in search of Mom.
Mama questioned, “Where are you going?”
I need to go pick up Anna. It’s been a few days, but she’s been drinking again.
“No. I assume you’ve just awoken. You never know what could happen. It worried her a lot.
“Mom, I’m fine.” I’ll just pick up Anna and take her to them.” I insist.
“I’ll go with you.”
I said, “Sure, why not?”
There, you’ll have to wait for me.” She strolled in and greeted everyone. A short amount of time was all it needed for the sequence to emerge.
Where are you planning on picking up that girl, anyway? “We are getting ready to head out. “The door was just closed by Mom.”
at the pub or bar. There isn’t much to my response.
“Bar? “Despite her age, Briana is still a young woman.” If I run into that teen again, I’m going to give him a good groin pinch.
When my mother told me not to go to the pub, I just shrugged her off like any other parent who has a child that frequents such establishments.
It’s her responsibility, you see, because her parents are far away in another country. Oh, and I’ll preach to her if they don’t get in the way. While we waited for the ride, Mom didn’t stop preaching.
So that’s the only thing that separates me from Anna. But even if he were healthy, his loved ones live too far away. She’s never far from me, even if it’s only Mom. We can still be friends despite the differences in our socioeconomic status. Despite his wealth, we nevertheless deal with him in the same manner as everybody else.
Throughout the drive, I maintained a respectful silence. I wound down the Jeep’s window and let the breeze tousle my hair. The wind is icy.
Where exactly is he hanging out tonight?”
Send button. There isn’t much to my response.
I’m still too tired to make a lengthy comment. Many times I have passed out in public places like parks, schools, and other random places. Since I’ve brought Mama home unconscious on multiple occasions, I know she’s aware of me, too. When he needs something, he doesn’t just ask me. I hope he’ll let me tell him voluntarily.
In those days, I was a formidable opponent. I can’t explain why my body suddenly felt so warm. My resistance is diminished. If I got a 95 in PE, I’m only at an 86 and an 83 on the field right now. I’m just going over the high marks on the exam. Somehow it still passes.
If I get a lower score in physical education, Mom doesn’t freak out. As a result, he understands why. Suddenly, I felt the Jeep come to a halt. I gazed out the window. Here we are, at the sending button. My mom and I headed downstairs and into the pub. Suddenly, the blaring speakers were activated. combined with the perpetually spinning, dazzling illumination. We chose to ignore the flirtation at various locations.
Go straight to the VIP area. I looked for the room that Yana always used. Mom came to a halt first. I held both of his shoulders. “Mom, you stay here outside first.” “Mom, you wait outside while I go in.” Mama should have filed an appeal as I abruptly stepped inside and locked the door. When I was finished, I locked it.
On the couch, I spotted Anna with a mystery male companion. She had climbed up into his lap. in a forward-facing position. Wave as if you have no plans for the future. His hands move all over Anna’s body.
It was a shout of “Brianna Mariel!”
“Enough now!” The truth is that I let out a scream.
I yanked the dress off of Anna. The man got to his feet. Fortunately, he’s still wearing clothes. It’s a good thing I didn’t let Mom in.
“Fuck! Aw, what gives? You are welcome to participate if you like.” Baby, lick my lips.”
I moved Anna to a different seat. Indeed, you make an impression. No, I can’t talk to you right now. I decided to talk to the guy. I embraced him and put my arms around both of his shoulders. The rumor that I like him is false. As I leaned in toward his ear, I whispered.
Go and leave this goddamn place, or else your baby patooty will rock your world.” “I don’t want to see your face, bullshit.” I have changed my mind. I didn’t let him decide.
The man’s face betrays the agony caused by my actions. He sat on her bottom and slid back onto the comfy chair. I reached in and dragged Anna to safety. As a result, the door was flung open.
“Let’s go.” Anna had her arm slung across my shoulder, and her other arm was on her mother’s.
“B-Bes.” “Who’s with you?” the witch asked drunkenly.
