At this time, Susan turned around and glanced at Penelope.
Somehow, Penelope gulped nervously.
Susan said with a smile, “Aunt Penelope, I know you have a soft heart, but instead of taking people into your home when they are in need, it’s better to recommend them to the Landor family’s relief organization for assistance.
“I understand,” Penelope reluctantly replied.
“And about this matter, I don’t think Ben handled it wrong. Susan frowned and was about to speak when a faint voice suddenly sounded. “I think what Susan said is totally right.”
Susan was slightly overjoyed at it. Turning her head, she saw Ben. Ben walked over expressionlessly. Instead of talking to Penelope, he asked Susan first, “Have you eaten your breakfast?”
“Not yet,” Susan replied.
Ben ruffled her hair and said, “Then eat first.”
Susan agreed obediently and they were about to leave.
Penelope covered her aching chest and cried, “Ben, no matter what, I am legally your father’s wife. In the eyes of the law, I’m your mother! Are you standing up for your wife and bullying me?”
“Bullying you?” Ben found it quite ridiculous, and he couldn’t be
bothered to deal with Penelope. He held Susan’s hand and was ready to leave.

But Aunt Penelope, because of a servant, you accuse Ben of being strict and blame him for not being tolerant enough. Imagine how hurtful it must be for him to hear that!”
Susan’s voice even became hoarse. “He is also a person, and his heart can also feel pain. Aunt Penelope, I beg you, please give Ben and us a way out.”
The servants around were stealing glances at the commotion here.
Penelope was rendered speechless. She felt her heart ached even more,

Once they were out of Penelope’s sight, Susan stuck out her tongue. “Fortunately, you came in time.”
Ben chuckled. “You seemed to be handling everything with ease.”
“It’s just acting, after all. After you see enough of it, you’ll know how to handle it.” Susan shrugged nonchalantly.
Yana was no less of an actress than Penelope.

“It’s nothing.” Susan waved her hand, not intending to dwell on the topic. Thinking of the documents he had just acquired, Ben looked at Susan with a deep gaze.
