Chapter 135 I Would Not Show Mercy
Soon, Charlotte’s assistant, Sharon, who was abroad,
reported that Linda and Lily had gone to the same university and even participated in the same club activities. They should
know each other.
“What has Linda been doing recently?” Charlotte frowned slightly, and her eyes fell on the document.
If Linda and Lily knew each other, did this kidnapping have anything to do with Linda?
“Ever since Linda was reprimanded by Old Mr. Clinton last time, she has been silent, but she seems to be secretly in contact with Aaron.” Sharon said in a deep voice, “Our people have been following her.”
Charlotte unconsciously rubbed her fingers against the information and said, “Ask someone to check if Linda has received a large sum of money recently and if she has
contacted any hackers.”
Before hanging up the phone, Sharon asked with concern, “How… are you doing after returning from abroad?”
Charlotte sounded a little tired. “It’s not a big deal. Is there
any suitable woman in your companions? I want her to be the
children’s life assistant.”
Sharon was originally a mercenary, but later, he was saved by Charlotte by accident, so he naturally became her assistant.
Most of his companions were mercenaries like him. They were
used to living a bloody life and wanted to return to a peaceful
life.
“Okay, I’ll arrange for someone to return.” Sharon agreed immediately. There were too many people like this around
him.
After arranging everything, Charlotte went to the company.
Frank handed a stack of documents to Charlotte and said, “The preliminary preparations for the project have been completed. We will participate in the government’s meeting
next week. The construction can start after that.”
According to their previous agreement with the mayor, the
meeting was a formality.
Charlotte read the document carefully. After ensuring there was no problem, she returned it to Frank. “Pay more attention during this period. Some evil people will take the opportunity
to jump out.”
Frank nodded solemnly and looked at Charlotte hesitantly.
“What’s wrong?” Charlotte raised her eyebrows. Frank had
always been straightforward. Why did he suddenly hesitate?
Frank hesitated momentarily and said, “It should be the time
for the White Family to pay back the money, but we can’t
contact them for the time being.”
“You can’t get in touch with them for the time being?” Charlotte sneered. “I’m afraid they are deliberately avoiding you. You can ask the law firm to send them a lawyer’s letter directly. If it doesn’t work, there will be the White Group and
the house?”
Frank had been uncertain about how to treat the White Family
because he was worried that Charlotte would embarrass
them. But seeing her uncompromising attitude, he finally
understood.
“Don’t worry; I will handle it well now.” Frank knew that he had thought wrong before. Charlotte wanted her parents to sign an agreement. How could she show mercy to them?
He acted very quickly. At least, before he got off work,
Charlotte received a call from Diana.
“Mia! How dare you send us a lawyer’s letter?!” Diana said in a sharp voice, which made Charlotte frown and pull the phone away. Not until the phone quieted down she got close to Mia again. “I thought you had realized it when you signed the agreement, but it didn’t seem true.”
Diana paused momentarily and said, “Don’t think you can get rid of us just because you’ve climbed the social ladder! Believe it or not, we’ll expose you in the media and make your company unable to run!”
