Chapter 11 Hate Him
Gladys was shocked.
She thought, “Nonsense!”
“Unfortunately, I’m not shallow. Don’t try your tricks on me.”
Gladys said, “I…” She wanted to scold him.
“Zachary.” Before she scolded him, Timothy suddenly came in with medicine. Seeing them, he was very shocked.
“Oh, no! It’s not the right time! I’ll leave you alone. Bye!”
Zachary had been very abstinent. Usually, when he lost in games, he would drink. He never touched Julie in front of people. But now, they were actually in an ambiguous position!

Timothy turned around to leave.

“Julie, are you OK? Do you remember that you got hit when you ran on the road? You didn’t get hit seriously. You just got bruises and fainted out of the shock. I called Zachary at once when I saw you. Did you lose your memories after the car accident?
“Oh, no. If so, what should I do?”
Zachary was speechless.
She took a tumble. Timothy mistook her for Julie.
So Zachary thought that she came to him on purpose and said those words.
It was a mistake. And she wouldn’t take the blame.
Zachary turned to Zachary. “It was he who hit me and brought me. I thought you were blind. But you two are both blind!”
She meant that she wouldn’t seduce him!
Zachary’s face turned cold.
She was mocking him implicitly by saying that his friend was blind too.
He sneered, “If you didn’t try to shake him down, how would he hit you? How about checking the security video?”
Gladys choked.
She was chased after by Colin, so she rushed out in panic. She should indeed be partly responsible for the accident. But she didn’t try to shake anyone down!
“It was a mistake. If I wanted to shake you down, I would have asked for compensation. But never mind. Since you are blind, I will forgive you. Take the money, and go to the doctor for your blind eyes. Bye!”
Then she took her purse from the closet, took out a bill, and put it on the table hard. She limped away.
Zachary was speechless.
So was Timothy.

But Gladys didn’t care who he was. She hated him!
She could have gone to a good university and become an outstanding person. She could have been with Justin for the rest of her life, married him, and had kids. She could have had an ordinary but happy life. But that night ruined everything in her life. People scolded her as a cheap woman who got pregnant without a husband. She was no longer good enough to have feelings for Justin.
Even her adoptive mother looked down on her and sold her to an old man.
She didn’t want to see him anymore!
“Don’t go…” Just then, a childish voice sounded.
Gladys lowered her head and was dumbfounded!
