Chapter 10  Chapter nine of the scarred Luna.  Erin’s eyes widen on hearing what he just said, almost staggering backwards in shock. Derrick stood with the cup in his hand, head tilted sideways as he stared at Erin who had gone even paler if possible.  “W–what?” She stutters and he grins.  “Why? Weren’t you dying to join the dark moon pack? Well, here is the ritual. Take this and drink.” He stretches the cup towards her. Erin glanced at the content of the cup and back at Derrick.  “B–but it contains wolfsbane.” She stutters, earning a smirk from Derrick.  “So? Any wolf that’s going to join our kingdom has to take it. Only the strong can be a part of the dark moon pack and I’m sure you’ve heard about it. I don’t take strays into the kingdom.” Derrick tells her, gaze defined and  strong.  Erin gulps shakily, thinking again. How can she drink wolfsbane? How is that supposed to even help her? She’s pregnant for crying out loud. How is this-  wanted so bad to be a part of the kingdom but you face the first challenge and it has you reeling in thoughts.” He scoffs, dropping the cup to the table and rolls his eyes tiredly.  Erin gnaws on her lower lip, watching with hooded eyes the disappointment in Derricks eyes. She takes a deep  breathe and exhaled  “I’ll drink it.”  Derrick paused, eyes–brows cocked up as he stared at her. “You will?” He asks like he doesn’t believe it. Erin nods with determination. She can’t be a rouge, her pup has to be given birth in a pack. She cannot loose this chance. She reaches for the cup on the table and snatched it before Derrick could get another word out, putting the cup to her lips and opened up to drink it.  “Stop.” Derrick snapped and she stops before the wolfsbane could enter her mouth, she pulls the cup back slightly to see Derrick staring at her.  “D–did I do something wrong?” She asks nervously, hoping she hadn’t blown her chances of being a part of the  1/5  SEMANA OURO  OX  APIOVLITI  Emergency calls only M  Chapter 10  pack.  *2016% D 15:47  She watches as different emotions crosses Derricks eyes and finally settling on resignation. He looks at her for the longest minutes before pushing the drawer closest to him open and take out a knife. A special knife, judging by the way it was carved. The edge more pointy and curved than a normal knife and not to mention the inscriptions on it.  He walks closer to Erin, eyes still stuck on her but grabs the cup from her hands and pushes it to the table. Erin watched curiously as he brings the knife to his finger and cuts it a bit to have blood dripping out. Erin gasped, eyes widening when he steps even closer to her.  He looks at her for some seconds as though hoping she would change her mind about being in the pack but she doesn’t, instead she stands strong and firm, her eyes fluttered close and she feels his finger pressed to her forehead, his blood pressed to her forehead. She opened her eyes to see him still staring at her, their eyes meeting for a second time.  “Give me your hand.” He says, voice hoarse and raspy. Erin stretches her hand to him. Derrick looks down at her outstretched hand and gulps, taking it into his large and calloused hands, his thumb hovering against her wrist.  “Say after me.” Erin nods  “I, Erin promise to never betray the dark moon pack. Today that I have been inducted into the pack, I will protect and serve the pack with my life.” Derrick glanced at Erin after she is done.  “This is going to hurt a bit.” He whispers, bringing her wrist up to his mouth and latches his fangs into it, biting her. Erin gasps, squeezing her eyes through the pain.  She felt overwhelmed all of a sudden, tired, heavy, weak, drained all in the same time, so many emotions clouding her mind, so many voices. It felt too much for her head that her wanted it to leave.  Derrick only held her down while she swayed, eyebrows knitted as he watched her gasp and writhe then suddenly falls limp in his arms. He froze in his stead, her body melted against his and his thoughts blanked out.  He gulped thickly, hands hovering over her body for the littlest time before he regains himself and helps her seat down. She’s not unconscious but rather getting inducted, one cannot interrupt the process. He watches her for some seconds before walking to the water dispenser in his office and pours water into a cup.  Erin opens her eyes to see Derrick in front of her, she scrambles up sit up properly, her head still felt heavy but it’s better. It’s much better. He passed her the cup of water he had gotten from her and she takes it from him,  2/5  Chapter 10  taking a drink.  * 16% 15:47  |  […]

Chapter 9  Erin sat on the bed, eyes stuck on the blandly painted wall, hands placed against her skirt. She stared at the wall blankly, different thoughts going through her mind. Today, she’s supposed to leave the hospital but she has nowhere to go. What is she supposed to do? She’s reminded of the man that had saved her again. The same one that left her kneeling and begging for mercy and a chance to stay in the kingdom but had walked out on her. She doesn’t even need words to show that he definitely doesn’t want her in the kingdom.  She heaves deeply, still so focused on the wall and her thoughts she doesn’t notice the creaking of the door or the person that had walked into the hospital room.  “Hello, how are you doing today?” Erin is jolted out of her reverie, flinching hard from being caught off guard, she snaps her head towards the voice, sighing in relief when she sees the nurse she is now familiar with smiling at her.  “I’m fine, thank you.” She replied timidly, watching with cautious eyes as the nurse walks around the bed. “When will be I discharged?” Erin asks just as the nurse’s eyes flicker in surprise.  “Soon, we are just waiting for the doctor’s signature then you’re good to go.” The nurse’s words had Erin tensing. up again, her hand instinctively lowering to her stomach. It’s really not safe for her to be out there without a pack. She would be subjected to a lot and a lot of things especially since she’s pregnant. A wolf of her type, an omega too would never survive out there.  “You’re not from around here, right?” The nurse asked as she cleared the drip bag that was given to Erin.  Erin swallows hard, giving the nurse a tight–lipped smile. “How do you know that?” She asks.  The nurse smiles brightly, pausing in what she was doing “You don’t have a scent, you don’t have a pack mark and the state you were brought in was not so good.” She says. Erin is once again reminded of the problems she had to face. She can’t go out there alone again. She needs a pack, she needs protection.  She turns fully to the nurse, grabbing the lady’s hand and frightfully. “P–please tell me, how can I stay in this pack? I really want to stay here.” She rushes out. The nurse stared at her, mouth agape.  “You want to join our pack?” She asks again and Erin nods, almost hysterically.  “That would be very difficult..” she says and once again, Erin’s resolve crumbled. Her face fell on hearing what the nurse just said. Is there really no place for her in this kingdom?)  1/6  SEMANA OURO  18/03 A 31/05/2024  D16% 15:47  Chapter 9  “Wait, I mean, Alpha Derrick would take the decision to allow you into the pack. He hardly takes new wolves into the pack. The last time he did was three years ago and it was done because..” she trails off, eyes behind Erin, she slowly pulls her hand away from Erin’s grasp, swallowing hard. Erin furrows her eyebrows, turning to see what had made the nurse so pale.  A woman stood behind the door, dragon eyes were the first thing Erin noticed. She gulps hard, the woman’s stare was enough to have a grown man shiver. She stared at the nurse, her gaze, sharp, and accessing. She stood proud and tall, the black dress she has on, only encouraging the Power she was exuding. She had a semblance of authority in her. Her gaze drops to Erin and she smiled.  Smiled brightly at that. “You’re the new girl, huh?” She asks, taking a step forward, eyes trailing over Erin’s figure.  “Excuse me, your Grace.” The nurse whispers, grabbing her things to walk out but is stopped by the lady.  “Don’t go about spewing things you shouldn’t, They can bite you in the back.” The lady tells the nurse who nods, bowing nervously before scampering away.  Your Grace…  Erin attempts to stand so she could show her respect but is instead stopped by the lady. Whatever dark and sharp look she had a few minutes ago was gone just like the flash. She walks closer to Erin and bends so they meet eye–to–eye.  “You’re very pretty.” She commented. Erin smiled, bowing awkwardly “Thank you, your Grace.” She whispered.  The lady waves it off “Call me, Amelia. I’m Alpha Derrick’s step–sister.” She stretches her hand forward to shake Erin.  The Alpha’s step–sister is here to see her? What universe is this and what’s going on?  Erin bows again but shakes her “Thank you, Amelia.”  “It’s time to go, I came to get you so let’s leave,” Amelia says, clapping her hands together as she stood up straight, eyes roaming the room.  “Yuck! I hate coming to the hospital.” She mumbled on seeing something she didn’t like.  “W–where am I going?” Erin asks, getting up from the bed. Amelia turns to Erin and smiled.  2/6  SEMANA OURO  2016% 15:47  Chapter 9  “The pack house, come on.” She urges Erin further  +5  Erin walks out of the hospital with Amelia, not saying a word except when asked. She didn’t want to disrupt the whole thing. Perhaps the alpha had a change in his heart and would let her stay? Maybe, just maybe.  Erin climbs

Chapter 8  2016% 15:47  Erin stared at the man before her, his jaw locked, gaze hard and commanding, she felt herself squirm under his hot gaze, unwavering. He seemed to carry a semblance of a dark cloud around him. A very powerful one. She quickly looks down, averting her gaze. She could feel her heart quickening.  When running, she hadn’t thought she would find herself in the Dark moon kingdom. She was only looking for a way to get out of the blue moon kingdom and well, getting here was something. She can’t say it didn’t cross her mind while she was escaping but she had no idea how to get here but look at how it worked. She found herself here.  “Don’t you have anything to say to me, after all, I saved your life and allowed you into my kingdom.” Derrick voiced out, eyebrows quirked up, his gaze sharp and accessing as he watched Erin fiddle nervously with a shawl.  She slowly looks up at me, her tongue darting out to wet her dry, chapped, and thin lips.  “I’m sorry, your majesty. I- I should’ve thanked you sooner. Thank you very much for saving my life.” She replied, bowing even with how awkward it was, her hand still placed against her tummy.  “M–May I ask how you found me?” She asks, looking up at the Alpha, eyelashes fluttering prettily.  Derrick felt the light tinge in his chest again, this time he was certain something was wrong.  “Near the border. You had passed out.” He paused, he had a forlorn looking his face as though he was thinking back to something.  e? Wh  “What’s your name? What happened? It’s very unusual to have a member of the blue moon pack in our kingdom.” Derrick says, slipping his hands into his pocket as he stares at the lady who seemed visibly shaken at what he just asked. He quirks an eyebrow up, watching as her skin grows paler, gnawing on her lower lip, eyes a little dazed.  “Erin. My name is Erin and I–I did something.” She whispers quietly that Derrick would’ve had to strain his ears if he wasn’t attentive. Derrick opens his mouth to speak but the door creaks loudly, a fairly short man steps into the room, adjusting his gloves.  ‘How are you fee-” the words died down in his throat as soon as he lays his eyes on the Alpha, body rigid with fear coursing through his veins. The director bows immediately in respect, gulping the pile in his throat on remembering the last time the Alpha had been to the hospital. It wasn’t a good memory for the doctor.  1/5  SEMANA OURO  Emergency calls only MO  Chapter 8  $016% 15:47  +5  “Elvis,” Derrick calls out the doctor’s name, nodding curtly and gestures at the doctor to move along. The doctor jumps at the gesture, rushing to the patient, Erin.  “Good afternoon, how are you feeling? Any dizzy spell? Pain in any part of your body?” He asks, helping her lie  down on the bed.  “My head hurts a bit.” Erin whispers, looking more timid than usual, she averts her gaze from Derrick, looking a little nervous. Derrick tilts his head sideways, watching her reaction, his gaze drops to her grip on the shawl, and he cocks an eyebrow up, glancing at her face again. She seemed rather intent on not staring at him and now he was convinced she was lying. Her head doesn’t–hurt.  “H–how long was I unconscious?” She asks the doctor whose eyes flicker to Derrick as though seeking  permission to tell her how long she was out.  “Three days.” The doctor mutters, diligently checking her vitals.  “Three days..” Erin whispers lost fully.  “Your wolf is dormant and wasn’t reacting to anything. It shouldn’t have taken you that much to heal.” The doctor says after a beat. Erin’s heartbeat quickens, her wolf is still dormant. It’s been days since she last felt her  wolf inside her and now she’s worried.  “Also, you have a” the doctor paused, eyes flickering back to Derrick’s unmoving figure. He swallows hard and looks at Erin who was staring at him with anticipation. His heart clutched slightly for the woman laying there. He had no idea what she had been subjected to but she was far from okay. He could tell she just had her mating bond cut which is taking a toll on her wolf which is also taking a toll on her body. That’s something she doesn’t need especially since she’s pregnant. Her wolf should feel protective over their pup. It should want to be near its pup and hear its heartbeat even though it’s not born yet. The wolf is supposed to act like a mother now but instead, hers is gone. It’s dormant.  “She has what?” Derrick snaps, and the doctor fumbles with the injection in his hand on hearing Derrick’s voice.  “S–she needs a lot of rest.” He blurts out instead. He could feel a dreadful pit growing in his stomach.  “Administer the drugs you want to and leave.” Derrick grits out and walks to the other side of the hospital room  and look out the window.  Erin stared at his figure for some seconds and doesn’t even feel the needle pierce into her skin until the doctor  was done.  2/5  SEMANA OURO  18/03 & 31/03/2024 

Chapter 7  “I don’t think this is a good idea, Alpha. I think it’s best if we-”  “Remind me again when I asked for your opinion? Exactly! I didn’t so shut up and do as I tell you to.” Derrick snaps, unable to keep up with the same words over and over again.  Alexander, the beta opens his mouth to speak but thinks it over and shut it, he glanced at the gamma who had just been snapped at by the alpha, gesturing abhim to go ahead with what Derrick had ordered.  “She’s just another rogue, why do you care, Derrick?” Alex asked, quietly watching the gamma room. He turns and takes a glass in his hand, pouring a drink into it, his back turned to Derrick.  hurry out of the  Derrick massages the bridge of his nose, sighing softly but collects the drink Alex had poured for him. He gulps it in a go and passed the glass back to the beta who cocks an eyebrow up.  “Dylan said you wanted her.” He says quietly again and Derrick rolls his eyes. Of course, Alex would know.  “If you knew, why then are you asking me?” He shot back, walking towards the window, and pulled the curtains aside, peeking out the open field. The warriors were all training hard, their noise seeping into the calmness of  the office.  “What are you doing, Derrick? We could have left her there to suffer her fate. I don’t think Alpha Liam would be that happy to know his mate is in our kingdom.” Alex wraps his arm around his chest as he stared at Derrick who simply shrugs, drawing the curtain back and walked to his chair.  “You aren’t a savage, Alex. Stop behaving like one. Suffer her fate? Really? Are you the moon goddess’s assistant now?” Derrick was aware he wasn’t giving Alex the answers he wanted but how could he give answers when he  doesn’t know the answers?  Three days ago, they found the Luna of the blue moon kingdom passed out near the border. The guards in charge had called out to Derrick through the kindling and when he got there he was stunned to see the same lady he had tried to get days ago.  She looked terrible for starters. Her entire body was covered in marks and blood streaks. Her clothe was  as torn and haggard, looking like she survived a war, her lip busted, and her face covered in bruises. She was barely breathing by the time she was found and taken to the pack doctor. Ever since then she’s been unconscious, the doctor saying her wolf was dormant and not responding so it was difficult for her to heal from within. Derrick had felt the same tiny tinge in his heart when he saw her for the first time, he knew right there, and then that he won’t let her go, not that easily.  “What are you doing Derrick? We don’t invite trouble to the kingdom and that lady is trouble. She has trouble written all over her. Why is it so hard for you to understand that she is-”  “Do you understand that she walked for days? Our kingdom is on the exact opposite side of theirs. It takes a day and five hours to get here by car but she walked. It took her longer than that so why would I turn someone that looked like she was barely breathing and clearly searching for help? I might be crazy, overzealous, stubborn, and whatever you chose to call me but I’m not callous.” Derrick couldn’t keep his cool anymore, his scent growing ashy by the second.  Alex sighs, bringing his hand up to his temples and massaging it softly “You are actually callous but okay! I’ll support this thing you’re doing.” He grumbled. Derrick chuckled, eh, maybe he is callous but then again, who  isn’t?  “Some rouges have been spotted at the east, the bushes around there. Dylan says they have been there for some days now, all camping there.”  Derrick hums, “burst their bubble, taking a place of refuge by the dark moon kingdom isn’t something sensible. Besides, rouges hide, they don’t show themselves if they don’t have an ulterior motive to burst that place. Take Dylan along.” Derrick replied, getting up from the chair.  “What are you going to do about Samantha? She’s been a little difficult off recent.” Alex asks, still watching  Derrick.  “Leave her, she’d grow out of her tantrum and if she doesn’t, I’ll send her back to Callisto. She would know what  to do with her.” Derrick replied, images of the soft blondie came rushing to his head but he shakes it off. It’s not  the time.  Alex quirks an eyebrow up “Really? Callisto?” He asks, already doubting the decision. Derrick sighs, grabs his shades sitting on the table, and slips them on, he ran his hand through his hair.  “Just do as you’re told, Alex.”  “Where are you going to?” Alex asks on seeing him take his leather jacket and phone on the table. Derrick glanced at him with a smirk on his lips. Chapter 6  #D16% 15:46  Erin sighs, her hands running up her arms. She gnawed on her lower lip, eyebrows knitted in worry as she looks out the cell. She couldn’t sleep all through the night, her mind wasn’t at rest but then again, whose heart would rest when they hear of their death?.  Her heartbeat hammered hard in her chest, she felt sick from within, reminded of her pregnancy again. She brings her hand to her stomach, gently rubbing it. She has to find a way out of here, she can’t let her fate be decided to doom just like that.  Her eyes stung with unshed tears again, she was reminded of Liam’s harsh words. How does he believe Melissa when she told him she’s pregnant but not Erin? Why does everything have to go south for her? Her wolf has been mute since Liam broke off the mating bond that it worried Erin. Yes, she might be the weakest wolf in the kingdom but it doesn’t mean she still doesn’t feel her wolf because she does feel her wolf. Although, right now,  completely blocked her from feeling her. Her wolf must be broken after what Liam did.  Erin exhaled, rubbing her hand through her hair, she began to pace around the cell, feeling very much unsettled and worried. It’s a matter of time before she will be dragged out of here again and for the last time. Liam will not have mercy on her so what can she do? What can she-  She doesn’t get to finish that train of thought as the guard’s heavy footsteps boom in the hall leading to her cell. Erin was frozen with fear, her heartbeat pounding hard in her chest she feared it would burst out. The guard from earlier marches to her cell, eyes filled with disgust as he stared at Erin while unlocking the lock to the cell.  It’s easy how these people switch sides once you’re being castigated. When Erin was Luna, she wasn’t treated the best but still wasn’t treated this worse. She’d spend hours in the kitchen, trying to prepare food so the warriors wouldn’t starve. She would spend hours with the maids, teaching and helping them with whatever she could since she wasn’t fighting material. Truly hilarious if you ask. Not once has these guards bat an eye when dragging her back and forth. Not once do they even behave like they remember the times she was there, instead they show the real amount of hatred they have towards her?  The iron–barred door jolts open, and the guard steps into the cell. “It’s time to face your punishment.” He spat out, grabbing Erin by the arm and pulling her towards the entrance. Erin gulps, already starting to tremble with fear coursing through her veins.  “Larry!” Another voice boomed from deep inside the hall. Erin recognizes it as the other guard’s voice. She has no idea why they are the only ones looking after her after all, there are other warriors and guards but then again, they’re probably Liam’s most trusted guards and that’s why they are watching her. She sighs inwardly, Yes, she and Liam didn’t have the most perfect marriage. In fact, it was a sham but it wasn’t like no one knew in the pack. Liam only tolerated her, especially after she was unable to provide an heir. She was immediately turned into an outcast in her very own kingdom. Erin remembered the snide talks she would get while walking down the stairs, and the pitiful looks she would often get from the maid when cooking. The mocking comments Liam would throw at her and Melissa’s taunting. All of those seemed to have not mattered now as she was being dragged out of her cell to face her death. She remembered the look in Liam’s eyes when he told her she would be dealt with tomorrow. The disdain and hatred embedded in his orbs. At that moment, she knew, she had to escape but how?  “What? Alpha has ordered that I bring her up. She’s getting killed today for what she did.” Larry yelled back, pulling Erin’s arm behind her so he could tie her.  “Well, hurry up! Everyone is waiting.” The other guard yelled back and left, his footsteps fading with every step he took.  Erin winces just as the guard grunts, tying her arm tightly so she couldn’t untie the ropes. He takes some step. back and looks at her then bends to pick up his sword. He grabs Erin by the arm and pulls her out of her cell while she grunts, trying to suppress the pain shooting up her arm at the way she was tied and also the whipping she got yesterday. It still hurt like hell.  “Come on, everyone is waiting to see you die.” He grins, pushing her forward so that she stumbles lightly.  “Stop being a fucking wimp and walk!” He snarls but still helps her stand properly. They began to walk down the hall. Erin gulps hard as they walk past some cells, the wolves in them screaming to be killed and some just staring at her blankly. She shudders internally as their eyes met one another. His brown orbs, were emotionless, dull, and resigned.  This could be me, she thought to herself.  “I can’t wait to get this over with and finally do something worthwhile. Like fighting and going to war for the kingdom.” The guard mutters beside her, clearly done with the whole Liam losing his pup thing.  Erin wondered if this is how she would end, unable to escape this and die because she’s such a weakling and couldn’t.. She pauses, eyes narrowed slightly. What was that?  She stylishly glanced at the guard who was still grumbling distractedly beside her then looks away just like that. Her heart beat plummeting hard in her chest. She could feel the air stuck in her throat, palms already clammy at the thought of what was going on. From the corner of her eyes, she could see one of the cell mate they had just passed, stretch forth his hand into the tiny hole a person’s hand shouldn’t fit. She gulps hard, a knot settling in her throat, she’s struck with fear, moving as slow as she could and hoping the guard wouldn’t notice since he’s still ranting on how much he wants to fight in a war.  The cell mate succeeds in bringing his hand out but a mistake has everything crumbling. The lamp which has been lit with fire and kerosene fell down, alerting the guard who looked back immediately, eyes bulging open immediately, his grip on Erin’s arm loosened.  “What the hell?” He muttered, eyebrows creased in worry and confusion. Erin turns back and just then did Erin notice the small fire already made by the lamp which was now open.  “It’s leaking.” She yells, seeing the lamp leak a bit of kerosene out, spreading the fire a bit. The guard runs towards the cell where the people in it were already yelling, trying to remove the key stuck in his jeans hook, sweat bead tricking down his forehead, he was shaking hard, unable to think of something to stop the fire. Erin staggers back a bit just as the fire catches on a rag, already fast and spreading. 

Chapter 5  023% 15:41  sun-  Derrick steps into the pack house, tall, broad, and brave. He must be at least six feet tall with jet black kissed skin, and sporting a stubble down his chin. His jaw was set and locked as his gaze ran through the heads in the room.  “We do not have business, why are you here and what do you think you’re doing?” Liam counters, face red with anger and maybe a bit of protectiveness towards the pack of course.  “You’re mistaken! We do have business, Alpha Liam and I’m here to sort out our business. Forgive me for barging into a private moment.” Derrick says, his voice was low and controlled reminding Erin of a caged animal. His gaze fell on Erin who was still kneeling, hair disheveled, face red and rough.  Liam moves his weight, shifting slightly to block Derrick’s gaze. He tilts his head sideways.  “I don’t appreciate you coming into my kingdom and territory without proper permission.” Liam puffed out his chest to look intimidating. His guards were already by his sides noticing his posture.  “I’m only here to sort out our business and you know exactly what I am talking about.”  Liam stared at the man before him for some seconds then sighed, letting his gaze stray towards the beta who understood the meaning.  “Leave everyone! The alpha would address everyone later.” Noah says, voice loud and commanding. The pack members began to walk out and soon the house was empty, well, leaving Erin, the guards, Liam, the gamma and the beta, and also the man standing behind Derrick. One that Erin hadn’t noticed due to the crowd in the room but now had the chance to see. He stood a foot shorter than Derrick, with deep brown hair that was tied into a man bun, lips pulled into a distasteful scowl. His eyes meet Erin’s and she looks away immediately. The mant certainly looks like Derrick, an uncanny resemblance they share.  “Take her, she will be addressed later,” Liam tells the guards who move to grab Erin by the shoulders. Erin goes stiff with fear at her coming fate. She’s doomed. been intrigued to meet the Luna of the Blue moon pack.” There is a restrained power between each word.  His words had Erin freezing to her bones. He has always been intrigued.  Derrick takes a step towards the woman held between the two men but is blocked actively by the Alpha of the blue moon pack. His lips pulled into a distasteful scowl.  “Not another step. I’m sure you know you aren’t welcomed here. You crossed a line when you stepped into my pack house without permission but don’t dare take another step.” Liam growls out quietly, his gaze hard.  The two alphas stare at each other and gaze unwaveringly. Liam’s scent had grown bitter and harsh, a clear indication that he isn’t going to back down if need be and definitely won’t allow this Alpha to walk all over him and that too in his home.  Erin has heard of the feud the Blue moon kingdom and the dark moon kingdom have shared over the years. It all started from a plot of land and escalated over the years. The two alphas have a burning hatred for each other in their hearts which is why it’s surprising to see the Alpha of the dark moon kingdom in the pack house of the blue moon kingdom. It’s something no one has ever thought would occur.  “Take her away!” The beta, Noah tells the guards.  “No, wait. I have a proposition for you.” Derrick tells Liam, holding his hand up, signaling for the guards to stop. Liam quirks an eyebrow up just as Derricks‘ aide rushes to his side, telling him something silently. “The treaty has been signed and trust me I hate it more than you do but I’m willing to compromise. I have four of your men in my kingdom and I’m willing to let them go..  “What’s the Chapter 4 Chapter 3 Liam paced around the hospital hall, the beta beside him as they both waited for the doctor to come out. He was letting out rather strong and bitter pheromones, unable to control the way he feels. He felt furious. Angry, disappointed and most of all rage. All of these towards the

Chapter 3  He looks at the lady before him, shaking and talking. He could see her mouth moving but couldn’t hear what she was saying, his ears only ringing with the same words.  “I did it, I did, I did.”  Erin falls to her knees, shoulders hunched in fright.  “I- I’m sorry, I–c- couldn’t help it. S–she..” Erin blabbers on  “You pus-”  “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, it was a mistake. I didn’t want to. She- she tried to push me and I only saved myself. I want-”  She’s suddenly grabbed by the arm, and hauled to her feet. “You pushed her, knowing she’s carrying my child. My pup. The future heir of the kingdom and you pushed her.” His voice comes out venomously low. His grip on her arm tightened even more.  He pushed her forward mercilessly. Erin falls to the floor, her knees crashing against the roughness of the wooden floor. She snaps her head at her Alpha, more tears falling from her eyes..  “Alp–I–I didn’t do it on.” Liam stalks towards her, his figure menacingly threatening, face red with anger.  “Please forgive me. I was only saving myself. She came after me, she held me by the shoulders and tried to push me off. I only wanted to save myself.” Erin cried out, shoulders shaking with tears.  “Forgive you? What a fucking jokel How could you do this to me, Erin? You of all people.”  Liam stared at her disbelieving “I gave you everything, Erin. I made you a queen, a queen of our kingdom even when  you don’t deserve it. The daughter of a nobody, a pathetic orphan. I made you somebody. I gave you clothes. I gave you a home to live in. A pack to claim as yours. I gave you everything. Did you forget? You owe your life to me. You are nothing without me, Erin. You wouldn’t be able to feed yourself without me. It is thanks to me that you have a roof over your head. A warm bed to sleep in, all thanks to me and this is why you repay me with?” He screams, face red with anger.  “You couldn’t do the one thing expected of you, a barren like you dared to raise your hands against the mother of my pup to the extent that you push her off the railings and call it an accident. Because of you, my pup is fighting  1/5  SEMANA OURO  APROVEITE  Chapter 3  for its life. Because of you, Melissa is in such a critical condition. All because of you.” He snarls, gripping her cheeks tightly, his fingers digging into the flesh of her cheeks.  Erin whimpers, tears flowing freely from her eyes. “I- I know, Alpha. I know. I am –  Liam pushed her back, standing up distortedly, he rakes his hair backward, his thoughts running far and wild. The only thing on his mind was his pup. The same pup he had slaved over to get. The same pup that’s supposed to take over his kingdom and now, its life has been endangered greatly due to Erin.  “Guards!” He growls, the vein in his neck popping out. The entire pack went silent, their murmurs stops on seeing the fire in their alpha.  Two hefty men ran at the voice of the alpha, grabbing Erin by the arm and dragging her up.  “Please, I made a mistake. I didn’t-”  “A mistake?” Liam chuckled bitterly, jaw locked as he remembered the state he had found Melissa, the blood coated on his shirt. The doctor saying how terrible her condition is. Liam feels nothing but rage.  A mistake?” He asks again, stalking closer to Erin  who shakes in the men’s hold on seeing the murderous look in m’s eyes. His eyes changed from the red blazing rods to pitch black, not a tinge of white showing. Eyes as dark  as the soul of a demon.  Erin trembles in their hold, lips folded inwardly, producing an abnormal amount of sweat. Her fingers shaking so badly.  “Alpha… The gamma attempts to call the Alpha back to reality, taking a step forward only to have Liam snap his head at him at the blatant disrespect. The gamma bows his head in submission, taking a step backward toward the rest of the pack members.  Everyone knows this could never end well for Luna. They have spent the last four years hoping for an heir to the kingdom. Everyone knows the Alpha has always wished for a child, a pup to call him and finally, after four long barren years, he gets the news that his pup will be born. Melissa finally took in but this happened and all too because of the unfortunate omega.  Liam stands right in front of Erin, watching the woman tremble with fear, lips parted slightly like a gaping fish.  “You called it a mistake. My pup is fighting for its life because of WHAT you did and you call it a mistake.” He trails off, bringing his large hands slowly towards the bare skin on her neck. Erin’s throat gobbles up as his large arm  2/5  SEMANA OURO  18/03 A 31/01/2018  Chapter 3  023% 15:41  wraps around her neck.  “A–Alpha, please. It was a mistake. Please forgive me. I beg you to please.” She thrashes in their hold, doing everything possible to get away but nothing works. The pack members watch on as the alpha slowly circles his hand around her neck, his grip tightening slowly.  Erin thrashes, even more, the guards‘ hands pin her down in place, her arms locked in place so she couldn’t get free. Her head spun as she gasps for air, his hands grasping at her throat, leaving her without air.  The pack members watch their alpha grip his mate’s neck tightly, eyes pitch black, the veins in his hands popping out as he squeezes hard, the choked–up gasp leaving the Luna’s mouth, the redness of her face. They stood still, unable to do anything to help, not like they wanted to. She pushed the Alpha’s pup to danger and deserves every bit of what she’s getting.  Erin struggled to breathe, she struggle for air but all of that came to a halt in a second.  Everything changes in a second. 

Chapter 2  Erin stared at the railings for a few seconds, slowly looked back at her outstretched arms, and screamed again. Her heartbeat palpitated faster than ever.  “Melissa!” someone yelled painfully. The party stopped just for a second, and then the cry came again.  “MELISSA!”  Liam ran out of the pack house, the members hot on his heels as they rounded the house, reaching the source of the scream. Liam slowly halted, his chest heaving deeply, his arm falling limply to his side as he stared at the person lying on the floor, coated in her own blood. A knot rose in his throat as people crowded around her. Liam’s heart stopped for a second; he stood frozen, unable to believe his eyes. The ringing of nothing but whistling filled his ears.  “Someone get a doctor! Get help!” someone yelled from the small crowd surrounding her.  “Melissa, Melissa,” Liam rushed to her side, kneeling to cradle her. He held her body in his arms, his only thought being to ensure her safety and the safety of the pup. They had both worked hard for the past four years. Does the moon goddess hate him so much to grant happiness and take it away in a second?  The car arrived beside them, and he scooped Melissa into his arms, hopping into the car.  They rushed to the hospital, Melissa on a stretcher, the nurses scrambling to gather everything needed. Liam stood in the hall, his heartbeat racing, feeling his wolf threaten to break loose at the thought of losing their pup. The same pup they had slaved over for the past four years. Did the moon goddess despise him enough to snatch away his happiness?  “Alpha!” a man clad in white walked out of the room, his eyebrows pinched in worry as he approached Liam. “She had a serious fall. I’m afraid it’s very critical. She requires major surgery and…” He didn’t get to finish his  words.  Liam grabbed the man by the coat, his eyes blazing red. “I don’t care what you do! Save my pup and Melissa, Is that clear? If you don’t, I’ll make sure you never see the light of day again. Your entire family will be wiped out. Save my pup and its mother! Do more than your best and save them.” He growled, his eyes changing from yellow to blazing red. The doctor in his hands panicked, audibly gulping, his eyes widening with fear. Everyone knew an angry alpha was dangerous, let alone one who was hurt. It was insane.  1/5  SEMANA OURO  15/03 A 31/01/2024 APROVEITE  Emergency calls only  Chapter 2  2023% 15:41  “Y–yes, Alpha,” he stutters, audibly gulping, his Adam’s apple bobbing. Liam stares at him for a few seconds before pushing the man away. The doctor scrambles away, already getting to work.  “Alpha, we just need to stay calm,” a familiar voice says. Liam turns to see Noah, his beta, beside him, his hand placed on Liam’s shoulder in an attempt to comfort him.  “Calm? I’m supposed to stay calm when Melissa is in there fighting for her life and my pup’s? Are you insane?” Liam growls, pushing Noah away, causing him to stagger back slightly.  “Fucking leave me alone! Don’t touch me.” Liam’s chest heaves, his emotions on the edge. He’s the Alpha, for fuck’s sake. He should have some semblance of pride, but not right now. Right now, he is capable of doing something violent. His wolf is basically begging him to act, thrashing inside him.  “Hell! This was supposed to be it. This should be the big breakthrough, but what?” He growls, slamming his fist against the white hospital walls, staining the perfectly painted surface with red. He pauses, red? He slowly glances at his hands and staggers backward a bit.  “Alpha!” Noah and some members exclaim, scrambling around anxiously upon seeing Liam’s intense anger.  Liam stares at his blood–coated hands. Melissa’s blood. His pup’s blood. He feels the fire burning within him.  “Stay here and keep me updated,” he orders, leaving the three people waiting on Melissa before charging out of the hospital.  Erin stands in the living room with the other pack members, her hands folded tightly against her thighs, shaking with an unknown fear. She can feel it–the rage, the anger, the bitterness, the fear, and even the concern. She can feel everything emanating from the mate bond, and never in her years of living has she felt such deep fear. She feels everything Liam feels, and it’s murderous. She gulps fearfully, lifting her hand to wipe the beads of sweat  that have formed on her forehead.  “Melissa couldn’t have died. She has to be alive. She has to be alive,” Erin chants in her head.  Screeching. The first thing Erin hears. She tightens her grip on her hand, knowing he’s back. The loud screeching of the car brings the entire house to silence. Liam’s footsteps thud heavily against the wooden floor. He pulls the door open, revealing himself. His dark chocolate and petrichor scent grow even more bitter, leaving a distasteful taste on her tongue. An angry alpha is dangerous.  2/5  SEMANA OURO  APROVEITE  Emergency calls only  Chapter 2  *023% 15:41  The first thing Erin notices is his bloodshot, red–coated eyes and his rough, tousled hair. The marks of blood on his shirt. Oh no.  She gulps fearfully as Liam gazes around, everyone tensing up. He stands by the door, carefully looking at  everyone.  “A–Alpha, h–how is-”  de..  “How do you think, huh? I want answers! What the fuck happened?” he snarls, walking to the middle of the room, still eyeing everyone.  “I want some damn answers, fuck it. My pup is on the verge of losing its life, and it hasn’t even been born. I want some damn answers, and I don’t mind squeezing every bit of life from everyone here to get what I want.” 

Chapter 1  D23% 15:40  The hot blazing Sunshine relentlessly, and the road shimmered in the heat of the midday sun. Erin ran as fast as she could, the length of her dress in her arm. Her brunette hair flowed freely behind her. Her heart palpitating widely, a flush rising to her cheeks even as she ran. She could see the pack house, large and tall, meters away from where she is.  Her wolf screamed at her to calm down and stop running but she couldn’t. She didn’t want to. The news she has is something that would change everything in her life. Erin grins as she remembers the news the pack doctor had given to her.  “Congratulations Luna, you are expecting.” Those five words change everything, it changes the course of life of  Erin.  Erin reaches the pack house, she pauses in her stead, her right hand placed against her chest, willing herself to calm down. Sweat beads trickled down her forehead but she couldn’t be bothered, not at this time. Her  heartbeat slowly but surely returned to normal.  She swallows the pile in her throat, taking a step forward into the pack house. She pauses, eyebrows furrowed as  she looks around.  It’s crowded.  Yes, the pack house is always filled with people walking in and out of it but today, right now, it’s fuller than usual.  “Greetings Luna. We have good news” One of the pack members known to be Charlie voices out as soon as he  notices Erin.  She smiles warily at him, her gaze searching through the crowd in the house to find her husband and Alpha, Liam. He stood in the midst of a small crowd, a glass of champagne in his hand, a proud and happy smile laid on his lips. To his right stood the bane of Erin’s life. Melissa.  “Greetings Charlie, please hold that thought. I need to speak to the Alpha.” Erin squeak’s out, eyes on the man currently chuckling at some joke made by one of the men surrounding him.  She picks up the length of her dress, smiling and nodding to the pack members who greeted her as she made her way toward the Alpha.  1/8  SEMANA OURO  APROVEITE  Emergency calls only  Chapter 1  023% 15:40  She couldn’t help but notice the happy atmosphere they all seemed to be emitting, everyone giggling, chuckling, and generally being happy. It would be even more of a happy occasion once she tells the Alpha she’s expecting.  She steps into the midst, glancing at the arm the alpha had circled Melissa’s waist.  “Luna, you’re around.” One of the pack members voices out, attracting the attention of the others. Erin smiles, eyes on the Alpha without wavering.  “Alpha, I need to” She didn’t get to finish her words.  “I’m pregnant.”  Erin’s heart stops for a second. Time seems to slow down as Melissa’s voice rings in her ear, echoing the same word. She’s frozen, feet deeply rooted in her place. Her eyes widen, lips parted slightly. Her stomach twists in an inexplicable manner.  “Y–you are?” She stutters, goosebumps rising to her skin as Melissa’s smile widens, she steps forward from the hold of the alpha and towards Erin. She brings her hand to her stomach, cradling her flat stomach in her hands, she glanced at her tummy and then looks back at Erin with the softest smile on her face.  “Pregnant. I’m pregnant and it’s the Alpha’s. The kingdom will finally have an heir.”  Erin glances at the Alpha whose eyes was on Melissa, a wide smile on his face as he steps forward, wrapping his arm around Melissa’s waist. Erin watches as Melissa melts into his hold, tilting her head up to look at the Alpha. They share a gaze, their eyes filled with a love Erin has never known.  A knot rises up Erin’s throat as she watches her mate stare lovingly at another. Suddenly her feet felt too heavy yet too light. Vision starting to blur.  “Won’t you congratulate the expecting mother? It’s a thing to celebrate. Finally, after four years, the kingdom will finally hear the cry of a baby, a newborn child. The heir to the throne.” Someone says from the crowd but Erin  couldn’t care who it was.  “Oh.” She whispers, gaze falling to the floor. She blinks back the tears threatening to fall, swallowing every bit of pain, ignoring the way her omega wailed. She looks up to see Melissa’s eyes on her.  “Congratulations Melissa.” Erin musters a smile as she congratulates the expecting mother.  2/8  SEMANA OURO  APROVEITE  Emergency calls only)  Chapter 1  “Thank
