Chapter 73 The blond guy smirked, revealing a set of yellow, stained teeth, and chuckled creepily. “Don’t worry, I got this! I was nabbed for the same thing last time!” He couldn’t take his eyes off the beautiful girl on the bed. He was just itching to get started! Before, Ellinor had shoved her head in the toilet, making her sick for days. Now it was her turn to make Ellinor feel even worse! Morgan’s plan was to set Ellinor up as a prostitute, get her caught in the act by the police at a hotel. When that happened, Mr. Blanchet would certainly not want anything to do with a woman like that. Perfect, that’s exactly what Veronica wanted! Once her brother had no use for Ellinor and her grandma found her repulsive for being a dirty bitch, they’d surely kick her out of the Blanchet family! Collin approached Mr. Blanchet and Veronica and explained, “There’s been a scandal at one of our hotels, which is bad for our reputation. This afternoon, someone anonymously reported room 3201 for prostitution. Two suspects were caught on the spot by the police.” Upon hearing this, Veronica knew instantly that her plan had worked. She was secretly thrilled. Ellinor, that bitch, would be kicked out soon! Haha, she deserved it…

With that in mind, Ellinor smiled faintly, ‘Alright, let’s hit the mall.” Veronica broke into a wide grin, then turned to Theo, “Theo, we girls are going shopping. You might wanna sit this one out.” Theo was engrossed in some document, he replied coldly, “I don’t have the time.” Veronica was secretly thrilled, “Great! Theo, just have the driver drop me and Ellinor at the mall!” After the girls got out of the car, Theo rolled down the window, glanced at Ellinor, and said calmly, “Don’t stay out too late. Get back home early” Ellinor nodded. At the mall. They hadn’t been to many shops when Veronica suddenly clutched her stomach, wincing in pain, “Ellinor, my stomach hurts need to use the restroom!” Ellinor looked around for a restroom, but saw a “Under Maintenance” sign on the nearest one. She frowned, “This floor’s restroom 15 out of order, let’s go upstairs. Hurry!” Veronica shook her head, “I can’t make it upstairs! Ellinor, I bet there’s a working toilet in there. I’ll go check, you wait here!” With that, Veronica dashed into the restroom under maintenance. Veronica stood by the bed, arms crossed over her chest, looking down at the now–trapped Ellinor in a posture of victory. “Make sure everything is clean and tidy. I don’t want to be dragged into this! Veronica reminded. Morgan patted his chest confidently, “Mrs. Blanchet, don’t you worry. I’ve got everything under control. Nothing’s gonna go wrong!” Veronica gave him a haughty look, “You’d better make sure everything goes smoothly!” “I promise you’ll be pleased!” After promising confidently, Morgan turned to a young man standing by, “Did you hear that? Take good care of this lady. When the police con I don’t need to repeat what you need to say ”

Chapter 71 Ellinor halted, hearing someone calling her name A sunny–faced big boy huffed and puffed as he ran towards her.. He was a junior from the third grade. Just as the car was about to leave Creston University campus, Veronica suddenly appeared, flagging them down. Veronica hopped in, chirping. “You guys can give me a lift home!” Theo lifted his eyes, looking at her coldly. “Aren’t you planning on going to college?” Veronica shrank back, “Bro, I misspoke! I don’t have classes this afternoon…” Theo didn’t bother with her anymore, signaling to the driver to start the car. Chapter 65  Morgan jumped a bit, fumbling to explain, “Um… this is the Blanchet home, right? I was looking for Mrs. Blanchet  You’re looking for Ellinor?  Just hearing Ellinor’s name annoys me now Veronica thought, studying Morgan with a disdainful look “What do you want with her?”  Morgan sized up Veronica. From head to toe, she was wearing limited edition designer brands. She was pretty, with a haughty air about her. She looked like a spoiled rich  girl….  So, he made a guess, “Miss, you said this is your house? Could it be you’re Mrs. Blanchet?”  Veronica furrowed her brows, realizing he had no idea who her brother’s wife was. She didn’t bother explaining, instead questioning, “And what if I am! What do you want with  Mrs Blanchet?  Morgan, thinking he had found the right person, immediately put on a fawning smile, ‘Mrs. Blanchet, there’s some gossip about Mr. Blanchet that I thought you might be interested in Do you have time for a chat?”  Gossip about my brother? Veronica was curious and puzzled. After a moment of thought, she nodded, “Follow my car. Let’s talk somewhere else”  Morgan hopped into his car and followed Veronica’s pink sports car to a dessert shop.  Inside the shop, Morgan placed several photos on the table and slid them toward Veronica  The photos were of Theo and Ellinor together. Veronica looked uninterested, “What’s the meaning of showing me these?”  Morgan was puzzled by Veronica’s calm reaction, “Mrs. Blanchet, this woman is Ellinor, your husband’s mistress!”  Veronica was taken aback, “A mistress?”  So this fat guy had misunderstood  Morgan continued, “This woman is using her youth and beauty to seduce Mr. Blanchet. It may disrupt your relationship in the future. I can help you get rid of her, but after the job’s done, I hope you can do me a small favor”  Veronica, who was just thinking about how to retaliate against Ellinor, was intrigued, “What favor?”  Morgan smiled, “It’s a small favor No big deal for someone like you, Mrs. Blanchet!”  After hearing Morgan’s intention, Veronica thought it was no big deal, “Deal. If you can get rid of this woman named Ellinor and make my brother.. ahem, my ‘husband‘ despise her completely, I’ll make sure he invests in your Nexus Industries project!”  With the terms settled, Morgan was overjoyed, “Mrs. Blanchet, you’re truly straightforward! Just wait for the good news! Within a week, I’ll make sure Mr. Blanchet completely despises Ellinor!”  After Morgan left, Veronica sat in the dessert shop for a while longer, sipping her drink with anticipation.  Ellinor, let’s see if you can escape this time!  The next morning.  Theo unusually stayed home for breakfast.  At the breakfast table, Ellinor was given a lot of attention. Marissa, worried about her recovery, offered to have Theo feed her.  Ellinor tried to refuse, but Manssa insisted  Expecting the aloof man to refuse, she was surprised when he just smiled mysteriously and went ahead, cutting the fried egg into bite–sized pieces and feeding her.  So cheesy!  She couldn’t refuse in front of Marissa. So she had to open her mouth and eat, all while maintaining a smile.  It wasn’t until her phone rang, like a lifesaver, that she had an excuse to leave the table. She quickly answered the call in her room.  It was the principal of Creston University on the line. 

Chapter 64  Watching Ellinor blush in embarrassment. Theo’s smirk grew wider “Ellinor, if you want to be a good wife, you gotta learn to call your husband ‘honey “Call you ‘honey?” Ellinor thought about his suggestion, then scoffed, “Nah, I think I’d get goosebumps!  Not willing huh?  Theo’s face darkened, his hand on her stomach pressing down harder  Ellinor suddenly felt uncomfortable, she grimaced, “Ouch, be gentle!”  Because of her cramps, her voice was weak. The phrase be gentle in this room, where only the two of them were, seemed rather suggestive.  Both froze, looking at each other with stiff expressions.  After a moment of silence. Theo chuckled, “How gentle do you want me to be, hmm?”  His hand really did lighten up, tickling her stomach like a playful tease….  Ellinor felt ticklish and was sure this man was just messing with her. Annoyed, she snapped, “Hmph, you better take your hand off me and back off!”  Hand?  Theo leaned closer to her, “What are you so nervous about? Blushing like that?”  Ellinor put her hand on his chest, trying to push him away. “I’m not nervous, I’m just, um….  Hot  That word added another layer of suggestion to the already charged atmosphere.  hot…”  She was uncomfortable, her face red from being teased, she bit her lip nervously Her long lashes cast shadows on her large, teary eyes…  The usually careless Ellinor now looked so vulnerable, Theo’s eyes softened, his throat suddenly dry.  Fine, no more teasing!  He gave her a deep look, pulled his hand back and handed her a glass of water from the bedside table, “Have it.”  Ellinor took the water, “Thanks”  Theo got up and went to the bathroom.  Ellinor sighed in relief, today Theo was acting a bit off….  Meanwhile, at the front door of the Blanchet family home.  Veronica sat in her pink sports car, growing more and more irritated, and banged the steering wheel in frustration.  After a failed scheme, she had been scolded by her grandmother. In a bad mood, she went for a drive.  But now, she didn’t dare to go home. Seeing her brother’s car in the yard, she was scared, scared of being scolded again….  That damn Ellinor was her nightmare!  Ever since Ellinor married into their family, she felt like she was always in trouble. Even her doting grandmother was now constantly displeased with her, always urging her  to learn from Ellinor  Learn what from Ellinor? Her poverty?  As Veronica was feeling restless, she noticed a short, plump man sneaking around their front door…  Who was this?  Veronica got out of the car, watched for a moment, then walked over and asked, “Who are you? What are you doing loitering around our house?”
