Chapter 600  Seeing that Jude was holding the phone without saying anything, Simon couldn’t resist going forward and asking, “Sir  Jude suddenly came back to himself. After a second, he said, “Prepare the car immediately.”  “Sir, what’s going on?”  Jude’s face was very twisted up now. “I’m not sure. Let’s go over there and see how things go.”  At this, Simon quickly went out to arrange the car.  Later, Jude and Simon both arrived at a hotel. It was all quiet inside, as though it was under lockdown.  Jude had just walked in when Charles brought a large group of people out.  Jude was stunned at the sight of this.  As someone who had been in a high position himself, this used to be the kind of thing he did. Now that he was seeing someone else do it, Jude suddenly got a dissonant feeling.  He also felt like the person in charge had changed.  “This way please, Mr. Morrison Senior.”  Charles led Jude to the second floor. Soon, they all arrived at the door to the presidential suite.  Stepping inside, he saw Daphne and a naked man both kneeling on the ground. Opposite them  was Kirk, sitting in a leather chair.  Kirk’s expression was so thunderous that it was scary. The beauty mark at the corner of his eye  somehow made him look even more devilish.  “Uncle Jude.” Kirk’s unbothered voice broke the silence in the room. Yet, at the same time, it  seemed to make the temperature plummet.  The two people on their knees trembled.  “Yes.” Jude walked over to Kirk’s side with the support of his walking stick. Kirk got up and  helped Jude into a chair.  1/3  +15 BONUS  Jude’s stern gaze fell on Daphne. Even though he already knew the answer, he asked, “What’s going on here?”  “I’m so sorry to call you here so late, Uncle Jude. But you’re the only one who can handle this.” Kirk’s tone remained bland.  Jude looked at Kirk suspiciously. He couldn’t figure out what Kirk was thinking at all.  “Tell me,” he said, deciding that he could only take things one step at a time.  Kirk turned. “Charles.”  Charles walked in from the doorway immediately. “Sir.”  “Tell Uncle Jude about everything that happened here. There’s no need to hide anything.”  “Yes, sir.” Charles looked at Jude and recounted exactly how he had caught Daphne cheating. Of course, there were some key differences in what he said and what was the truth.  For example, this man hadn’t bumped into Daphne and flirted with her out of nowhere. He had been intentionally placed in that restaurant.  Also, they hadn’t been found out because of Jack’s phone call. Rather, the information had come from the man Daphne had been caught “cheating” with.  “That’s the situation,” Charles said expressionlessly.  “One of the company’s staff found out that the madam was cheating. That’s why I brought some men to seal things up here.”  Jude’s expression was grim. However, it wasn’t because of Daphne’s infidelity.  Rather, it was because there were simply too many strange aspects to this situation.  He looked up at Kirk and said, “Kirk, how do you plan to deal with this?”  Kirk smiled slightly. “You’re my uncle. That’s part of why I asked you to come. I think it’s best that  you deal with this.”  Jude frowned. “That wouldn’t be right. It’s your private matter. I think you should deal with it 

Chapter 599  +15 BONUS  “Y–yes…” Jack was a little confused. Why was Charles so excited? It was as if he had just caught a big fish.  On the other end, Charles was getting up. “Thanks.”  “No, you guys…” Jack started. However, the call had already been cut. Jack was flabbergasted.  What was going on?  Jack’s mind buzzed in chaos. First it was Cheryl, and now it was Charles.  At Morrison Manor, Simon strode quickly into Jude’s study. He was in such a rush that he even forgot to knock.  “Sir, something huge just happened!”  Jude had been concentrating on practicing his calligraphy. With Simon’s entrance, his interest in it was completely lost.  He put down his pen and looked at Simon. “Mr. Zellen, you’ve been working for me for a long time. When did you become as excitable as a kid?”  Simon wiped his face and chuckled. “Sir, it’s just that it’s too huge and too unexpected.”  “Oh. Well, if there’s something that can even surprise you, let’s hear it. What happened?”  “Someone just reported that they saw Ms. Dawson outside.”  “She’s finally showing her face? Did you send someone to inquire why she hasn’t gone out lately?”  “Sir, there was no time at all.” Simon revealed a meaningful smile.  Jude looked at him and asked, “What is it?”  “Our people saw her go into a restaurant. A few minutes later, she came out with a man. They  were even holding each other. They seemed very intimate. After that, they went into a nearby  hotel.”  Jude’s eyes narrowed. “Do you mean to say that Daphne is cheating?”  1/2  +15 BONUS  “That’s right. I wonder if Mr. Kirk knows?” Simon glanced at Jude.  Jude was frowning “Cheating How could she dare?”  Even if she didn’t know Kirk’s methods, as someone who had spent so much time in the entertainment industry, Daphne should know that there were people she couldn’t offend  For example, the people at the top of the food chain.  Why would she…  Jude got up.  “Continue keeping an eye out. I want to see what’s this fishiness going on!”  After a moment, he looked at Simon again and asked, “By the way, I asked you to look for Kirk’s photo. Have you found it?”  He couldn’t wait to figure out what Kirk and Caroline’s relationship was. He knew that Kirk could keep things from him. After all, he was cunning as a fox.  But he believed that Caroline wouldn’t lie to him. Even if she wanted to, she would never be able to hide something from him.  Just then, one of the household staff came into the room.  “Sir, one of Mr. Kirk’s employees called. He says he has something urgent to talk to you about.”  Jude raised an eyebrow. “What is it?”  The person brought the phone closer and held it out to Jude.  Jude took it.  Charles‘ respectful voice sounded from the other end of the line. “Good evening, Mr. Morrison Senior. I’m Mr. Kirk’s assistant. There’s an issue over here for which Mr. Kirk needs your presence.  Jude frowned. “What’s going on?”  “Mr. Kirk says that he will tell you personally once you’re here.”  After saying that, Charles hung up.
