As the head manager of the marketing department in my company, my boss sent me to put in good words to the CEO of Densuff company so they can make a permanent deal with our company.
On arriving at the office today this morning, my boss called for me and bestowed this responsibility upon me. He told me about the deal between the Densuff Company and Walmart Company.
That’s Bryan and his friend’s joint company.
He wanted our company to be in charge of supplying them with the equipment they’ll be using for this project and any other ones to come in the future.
While being told about this, I was so happy. Happy that I would get to see my husband there.
My boss let me know that Bryan and the boys will be having a meeting with Mr. Smith at exactly 10:00 a.m. and the meeting will end around 11:00 a.m. Then, he will have a second meeting with me by 11:15 a.m… That’s, 15 minutes after he meets. with the boys.
At first, I was actually upset because he never told me anything about this
beforehand. And I have a lot of work on my desk that is still in review till now but, who am I to complain?
My mood changed the moment he told me my husband would be there… I was so happy that I ended up saying ‘Yes‘ to his request without a second doubt.
And the fact that I could just tell Bryan about this and ask for his help but, I don’t want to do that. I actually wanted to obtain this on my own without anyone’s help.
I’m beginning to imagine the look on his face when he sees me there. He wouldn’t expect to see me there.
He will be shocked! – I thought, smiling like an idiot who just won a lottery.
Five minutes later, I was at the company already. It was so close to my company that I ended up arriving here early. And the fact that all the staff here won’t take their eyes off my b*dy. They all know I’m Bryan’s wife and I’m enjoying every bit of the attention I’m getting from them.
This is proof that they all should back off from my man. He’s taken and he’s mine alone!
“Oh my goodness! I can’t believe we have both Mr. Samuel and his wife in our company today!” I heard someone say in an excited tone.
“You can say that again. They both look so good together, especially his wife. She’s so beautiful!” Another one said.
“Oh my goodness! She’s so lucky to end up with one of the ‘5 Gold Pillar‘ men! Someone else said.
“Did you see her skin? So soft. Did she fall from the sky?”
I smirked, satisfied with all the remarks I’d been hearing from them. One of Mr. Smith’s assistants walked up to me and told me she would be taking me to the waiting room. According to her, the meeting is still ongoing and until they’re done, I can see neither Mr Smith nor my husband.
Well, I don’t care about that. I’m just so happy and eager to see my husband. I’m also aware that I’m behaving like a high school girl right now who’s in love but I really don’t care. This is how much I love my husband.
The elevator we used came to a halt. Walking out of it, we made our way to the said. room I was supposed to wait for Mr Smith but then, something caught my attention as we walked towards the door.
The back view of someone who looked so familiar to Bryan made me stop walking. I watched closely and finally saw his face clearly.
He’s indeed Bryan but what I don’t understand is, why is he out here talking to a woman and not with his friends or with Mr Smith? Not only that, the closeness I’m witnessing between them right now is beginning to irritate me and I’m starting to
boil in anger.
No woman dares go close to my husband like this except me! HIS WIFE!!!
Call me crazy but this is how far I’m willing to go to protect my husband from any other woman! Never am I going to allow what happened between Xander and me to repeat itself.
I slowly made my way towards him but before I could reach him, I watched as the girl wrapped her two hands around his neck to pull him closer and k*ssed him passionately.
Isuddenly felt so heavy to move my leg as my chest tightened from pain. I stood there staring at the scene in shock. Not only me but with Mr Smith’s assistant.
What just happened?!
Bryan just k*ssed another woman!
What happened to the countless promises that he’s in love with only me and won’t ever look at another woman?
Still boiling in anger and ready to lash out my anger on this bitch leashing herself around my husband, I found myself calling out his name. “B… Bryan?” I said.
He immediately stops her and thrusts her away from his b*dy. He swiftly turned around and when he saw me, he widened his eyes in horror.
Tears immediately welled up in my eyes. I tried shaking off the scene that just took place in front of me off my head but it’s not working. I do not want to believe that I just witnessed this but, who am I deceiving?
I did saw them k*ssing.
I wanted to break down right now but I’m really putting in an effort not to do that here.
“B… Babe? Babe I can explain. It’s not what you think, okay?” He said, making his way towards me.
I look from him to the girl he just k*ssed and she dares to give me an arrogant. smile. Wait, was that even a smile or a smirk?
It’s definitely a smirk. A wicked one at that.
I started moving my legs and just when Bryan thought I was going to stop and talk to him, I walked past him to the girl. The arrogant smirk still plastered on her is making me feel uneasy and when I finally stopped in front of her, I landed a hot slap across her face.
She gasp out widening her eyes in horror. I guess she wasn’t expecting that from
- me.
“How dare you leash yourself around my husband?! Aren’t you aware that he’s already married?! He’s taken! How dare you k*ssed him, you slut?!” I yelled, slapping her again for the second time.
You bitch! How dare you raise your filthy hand on me?” She asked through gritted,
raising her hand to slap me but suddenly, a hand stopped her from nowhere. Looking at who that hand belongs to, came my husband.
Don’t you dare, Catherine! Don’t you dare lift your hand to hit my wife!” He growled shoving her hand away roughly.
“But she hit me first!” She protests.
“Wait, what?! Did you just call her, Catherine?” I asked, facing Bryan.
Babe please, I can explain, okay? It’s not what you think “he said again.
‘Of course, I know you don’t go back claiming what you already throw into the bin. She is the one lingering around you and I’m glad, I witnessed it myself” I smiled at Bryan as I said that and after then, I turn to face the slut herself. “Look here Katy, Cat or whatever you call yourself. This should be the very last I will see. you leash around my husband. He’s done with you in the past. You’re already in his past and never will he go back to someone like you, not after all the bad things you did to him!”
What?!”
“Yes! Or do you think he will ever go back to a cheat and a slut like you? Never! Stay away from my man else, you’re definitely going to regret it! I promise you. that, bitch!” I was ready to pounce on her again one last time before Bryan scooped me up in his arms.

“Don’t you think that this is over yet! I will definitely find. you. and haunt down if you dare come anywhere near my man!” I yelled and struggled to get out of Bryan’s grip but he was too strong for me.
“Tell Mr Smith something important came up. We’ll reschedule this meeting some other time” I heard him say to someone.
Well, I don’t care to know who that person is. I’m seriously upset right now and all I want to do is to let my anger out.
We arrive at the place where he parked his car when I suddenly bite him on his right shoulder. “Put me down, you shameless man! ” He hurriedly let me down and rubbed where I just bit.
Babe! That was too harsh!” He complained.
“Harsh?! How dare you tell me I’m being harsh when I just caught you red–handed cheating on me with your ex–girlfriend?!“
