Will ended the call, then took a deep breath betere walking up to Wilbur slowly
and bowing deeply to him. “I’m so sorry, Mister Penn. I was foolish enough to
offend you. Please punish me as you see fit.”
Will’s gesture left everyone in shock.
Sammy, Steve, and all the men in the room had their jaws hit the ground.
Even Nancy was shocked. She did not know what had just happened. Why did
Will’s attitude make a complete reversal in the blink of an eye?
Wilbur was the only one who knew what happened because of his heightened
senses.
He heard every single word in the conversation between Will and his father.
Wilbur saw that and frowned. “I won’t give you a hard time. Since you did
apologize. I’ll forgive you.‘
“Thank you, sir. Give me a second. My father will be right here to apologize to
you personally,” Will said carefully.
Those words shocked everyone once again. They could not understand what
could have possibly happened for someone like Will to suddenly be so
respectful of this young man.
What was going to become of the Torrent clan’s pride with how Will was acting?
There were other people around, too. It was like a slap in the face to the clan.
However, Will knew that someone who was capable of holding down the three
clans and making his father: that was far more terrifying than any of the men in
the room could understand.

everything. How are we supposed to even work together?” Sammy said in a
condescending tone.
Will had yet to stand up for him and restore his pride, and he was not going to
back down until that happened.
Yet just then, Will turned around and said coldly to Sammy, “Get out of here right
now. Piss off back to Westhill, or I’ll make sure you disappear from Seechertown
forever.”
Will was far less kind to an unknowing Sammy.
Their collaboration hardly mattered at a time like this. On top of that, he did not
want to let Sammy see what would happen when his father got there.
Sammy was in shock. He did not understand why Will was being so cold to him
all of a sudden and even threatened him.
“What’s the meaning of this, Mister Torrent?
“What’s the meaning of this? This is all your fauli! Get out of here!” Will roared
Sammy trembled all over, remembering that the Torrents were not to be messed
with. However, he really did tot want to just let this matter på.
He scrambled to his feet and said, “Very well. Shine you don’t want to work with
me, I’ll be taking my leave. It seems like the Torrent clan doesn’t have much to
shout about anyways.”

Steve nodded silently, leaving with his men at once.

Just then, Wilbur, Nancy, and Will were the only people left in the room.
Will scrambled to open a bottle of whiskey, pouring Wilbur a glass and passing it
to him respectfully as he said, “Please have a drink, Mister Penn.”
Just then, Nancy was completely dumbfounded. She had no idea what had just
happened.
She was worried to death about Wilbur, only to find the tables turned in his favor
the next moment.
What did he do for Will to treat him with such respect?
Just as she was wondering to herself, the door of the room opened to reveal
Gerard entering in a panic.
