Chapter 41 Please Have Some Self-respect
“You didn’t answer my question yet, where are you planning to go?”
Judson sat on the sofa.
The living room was not big. Only a small double sofa was in it.
He brushed aside the skirt on the sofa, twirled his fingertips, but the rough texture of the cheap fabric still lingered.
After living together for so many years, he knew all the clothes Rose has inside out.
These colorful dresses were all purchased within the short period of just over two weeks after she left him.
Judson had no idea that Rose would actually like colors other than white.
He had no idea that she looked so good even when she wore dresses in other colors.
Compared to the pure and holy beauty of the past, there was a lively and alternative sweetness when she was in other colors.
Rose looked at the time and realized that if they continued to delay, she would be late for the team building activity.
“Mr. Roach, I had my own plans for my life, and you…” She wanted to say that you had no right to interfere now…
But Rose’s tone suddenly changed, “Since you’re looking for me, is there something you need?”

“Come over here,” Judson said, raising his hand and resting his arm on the sofa.
If Rose had sat down, she would have been able to lie in his arms. Such an honor, if it were in the past, would definitely have made her jump over like a little deer and throw herself into his arms.
But now, Rose just stood still, a faint sense of detachment and awkwardness passing through her eyes.
Judson’s eyes darkened slightly, and his voice took on a hint of threat, “Are you coming over, or am I coming over?”
Rose had no choice.
She glanced at the door.
The door opened, and there was silence outside.
But she knew that Judson wouldn’t come alone.
She could only sigh softly and walked towards him, sitting on the sofa, trying to sit as far away as possible.
“Judson…
As the voice faded, Judson suddenly h ooked his arm and pulled her towards him.
Rose resisted in fear.
He simply turned over, with his legs pressing down on her, completely immobilizing her, with half of his body weight resting on her.
He held her with one hand and pinched her chin with the other.
“I don’t want you to apologize,” he spoke, still in a condescending
tone, “Leave Flourish Media and come back with me. I hold no grudges for what happened before.”
Rose understood.
He just came for the addiction.
In the past, although he was always elusive, he would never miss the opportunity to come back and visit her.
Sometimes he would pass by Imperial Garden, go upstairs, just to have a quick sex with her. After finishing, he would immediately leave, and could be gone for two or three days without a trace.
So he needed her to stay at Imperial Garden all the time, not allowing her to wander around, not allowing her to have freedom.
Because her freedom would hindered his random probability-like interest.
Rose just wanted to laugh.
“Mr. Roach…”
“Call me Judson.” At least for now, he was the one in need, so Judson’s expression could be considered decent. He gently traced his fingers along her cheek, even his threatening tone sounded as gentle as a drizzle.
“Stop following others to call me Mr. Roach, or you might end up hurting your tongue.”
“Judson Roach,” Rose did not fulfill his wish, she did not want to endure his unpredictable behavior anymore, she did not want to live according to his mood swings, and she no longer considered him her world.
He was in a good mood, and she was as happy as if it were a festival. Whenever he had a serious face, she would be so scared that she even held her breath.
“Judson, we have broken up, please have some self-respect.”
The force on Judson’s fingertips gradually increased as Rose’s voice landed.
“So?” Storm gathered in his pupils. “You’re going on a date with Darrin?”
Dressed so beautifully, just to meet other men…..
“I’m going on a team building activity,” Rose’s eyes no longer held the awe and admiration they once did, she was as cold as ice, “Normal social interactions that normal people have, a life of my own that I can only have without you, just like a normal person.”
Living like a normal person.
She used to live like an accessory, like a soulless puppet, all her emotions were consumed by loving him.
Judson, actually laughed.
His laugh made Rose uncomfortable, “Do you feel like the Roach family didn’t see you as a person?”
“What you said yourself, I was just a dog raised by the Roach family,” Rose lowered her eyelashes, fluttering them slightly, drawing a cold
arc.
Judson ground his teeth.
She only remembered the things he said when he lost his temper, but she couldn’t remember all the kindness the Roach family had shown

her over the years.
Holding grudges like this, but not remembering kindness.
How could she possibly be the daughter of the Edwards family?
“Mr. Roach…” came a low call from outside the door.
Rose recognized it was Keenan’s voice.
Keenan was much smarter than Isidro, he would speak up and at least be confident that he wouldn’t get scolded.
Sure enough, Judson shifted his body to the side, his gaze still fixed on Rose’s face. “Wait a moment.”
“I will be away on a business trip for a few days,” he finally got back to the point, “Would you like to come with me?”
Rose was almost astonished.
Judson never took her out, be it for parties, public events, or even travel… not to mention when he went on business trips, which were strictly for work.
For seven years, Rose was only allowed to stay in the Imperial Garden as a beautiful decoration.
If it were in the past, hearing him say such words would have made her as happy as eating honey, right?
But now, only a faint ripple stirs in her heart, filled with regret, bitterness, and self-mockery, but more than anything, it is a sense of relief…
“Judson,” she repeated this sentence only, “we have broken up.”
They broke up, they broke up, they have already broken up…
How many times did she have to say it before he would listen to this?
Rose did not delude herself into thinking that Judson did not want to break up.
In fact, he never took her words to heart. He was a person who made decisions on his own, with only his own thoughts in his mind, never considering others’ opinions.
With such a personality, coupled with a sharp and intelligent business acumen, as well as keen business intuition, he was destined to become an unparalleled king in the financial industry.
But when used in personal relationships, it only makes people feel suffocated.
“Mr. Roach…” amidst the silence, Keenan’s voice came again, “Time has passed.”
Judson finally got up:
He looked down at Rose coldly, “I’ll give you another ten days. Grandfather’s 80th birthday is the final deadline.”
Rose, don’t push me…
He stepped out of the door.
Keenan outside the door and Rose inside the door both sighed with relief almost simultaneously.

“Mr. Roach,” Isidro didn’t have the qualification to go see Rose with Judson now because he couldn’t control his emotions.
He had been waiting in the car downstairs. When Judson returned, he quickly handed over the steam eye mask with both hands and said, “It’s a long way to the airport. Take a rest?”
Since last night when Ms. Edwards entered the community, Mr. Roach had stayed there.
He didn’t go upstairs until noon today, and he just came down now. Isidro didn’t know if he had rested or not.
Judson did not put on an eye mask, but ordered coldly, “Go to the back car and call Keenan over.”
Isidro exclaimed!
What? Keenan was already working as an business assistant, and now his hands are so long that he even had to manage Mr. Roach’s life?
Keenan got on the car inexplicably, under Isidro’s resentful gaze.
“What do you think she’s really making a fuss about?” Judson asked as soon as the car started moving.
This was the first time Judson asked Keenan about Rose.
He had always been clear about separating personal and professional matters and never brought personal issues into work.
But Keenan remained calm and silently pondered for a few seconds before cautiously answering, “Could it be because of… that butterfly brooch?”
