When Love Turns into Hatred by Y.Flash Chapter 39

Chapter 39 She Never Begs Lillian to Apologize
“Darrin, it’s improper to do this. I don’t live far from here.”
When almost everyone left, Rose went in front of Darrin’s car.
“I just got off work.” Darrin didn’t say anything else. “Don’t be shy. Get in the car.”
“Darrin, you are as considerate to your alumna as before.” All of a sudden, Ab bie walked out of the darkness. “Rose, it’s been a long time.”
The smile in Ab bie’s eyes wasn’t sincere, instead, her eyes were
exceptionally sharp.
“Ab bie,” said Rose politely.
She knew Ab bie, who was always by Darrin’s side when she started studying at Rayvale Communication University.
It was said that Ab bie was Darrin’s childhood sweetheart and that her father was one of the founders of Flourish Media. Even if they weren’t in a relationship, they were related somehow.
But Darrin told Rose that they were just acquaintances.
Rose knew that Ab bie disliked her.
Once upon a time, she went to the library and bumped into Ab bie. She was stopped by Ab bie outside the library, and Ab bie sized her up. “Girls are getting more and more ambitious nowadays. I heard that you were parentless. How could you have the confidence to stay by Darrin’s side every day?”

Ab bie’s tone was so firm that Rose almost doubted herself.
She once reflected on herself for some time. Why did Judson and everyone else think that she had a relationship with Darrin?
Was it because she didn’t keep a proper distance from Darrin that other people misunderstood her?
And because of this, she even told Darrin not to meet her unless
necessary.
She didn’t want to raise Judson’s dissatisfaction or make herself the target of Darrin’s confidantes.
Darrin just nodded with a disappointed look in his eyes without saying anything.
Thinking back, Rose realized that what she had done both damaged her friendship with Darrin and made her suffer. It was like she had proved the slander to be true.
“Rose, you’re so lucky. I heard about your achievement in the
entertainment section.” Ab bie seemed to be joking. “Darrin helped you with the graduation project, and he helped you again with digging up other people’s scandals now…”
“Ab bie!” Darrin’s face darkened before Rose could say anything. “Rose completed the graduation project by herself. I didn’t interfere with Hector’s matter.”
Indignation flashed across Ab bie’s face. How could Darrin say that he didn’t help Rose?
Rose won first prize with her graduation project. Could she achieve that with her own abilities?
Today, Hector’s scandal was exposed, and his public image was
destroyed. Ab bie would accept it if Darrin admitted doing everything just to embarrass Orange Entertainment.
But he denied it as usual.
However, he gave himself away.
A few seconds later, Ab bie calmed down. She didn’t have the right to accuse Rose or suspect Darrin.
She was neither Rose’s superior nor Darrin’s lover.
But she hadn’t thought of a way to protect her dignity. Rose suddenly opened the car door and got in the car.
Ab bie’s face immediately turned livid.
“Darrin, take me home as well.” She went to open the back door, but Darrin had locked it.
Ab bie went mad. “Darrin!”
“We aren’t going the same way.” Darrin looked out of the car window at Ab bie. “Didn’t you drive here?”
After saying this, he rolled up the car window.
Rose took this opportunity to wave at Ab bie. “Bye, Ab bie.”
“Darrin!” Ab bie screamed, and her face was completely distorted. In the rearview mirror, Rose could see her swearing and throwing away her bag.

They drove away for a distance.
Darrin suddenly laughed and broke the silence.
“You’re getting much bolder.” He glanced at Rose with a smile.
In university, Ab bie stood in front of Rose and demanded she stay away from Darrin, so Rose listened to her and timidly came to him, asking him to keep a distance from her.
“I have nothing to be guilty about. Why should I be afraid?” Rose looked relaxed. “Besides, I can do what I want to do. It has nothing to do with others.”
She had thought it through.
When one was disliked, even her breathing could be a sin.
Would her cautiousness change anything?
Would others spare her or look up at her?
Since it wouldn’t happen, she’d better just be herself, and in this way, she could be happier.
No one would save her if she didn’t even try to save herself!
“Thank you for helping me with Hector’s matter.” Rose brought this thing up. “Actually, I have evidence of his scandal. I intended to expose it at the last moment when Orange Entertainment was fully prepared.”
“I really didn’t interfere with this matter,” said Darrin seriously. “Rose, I knew that you always had a plan, so I may mess with it if I get involved without telling you.”
Rose was dumbfounded.
That was right. It was not Darrin’s style.
He would at most give her some supplies if he was to help. He would
never carry out the plan for her.
He preferred to stand far away from her to encourage her and watch her grow up.
He wouldn’t just finish the task for her.
Then…
They arrived outside the residential complex.
“Darrin, you should go home to take a rest.” Rose got out of the car.
But Darrin didn’t leave. He looked at her back with dark eyes.
Rose seemed to have sensed something. Turning around, she saw Judson leaning against his car and staring at her with gloomy eyes.
And Lillian was standing next to him with a colorful silk shawl.
Rose withdrew her gaze and turned a blind eye to them. She quickly paced into the residential complex.
“Rose!” Lillian chased after her. “Rose, I’m here to apologize to you. I’ve been waiting for you for hours…
Rose stopped and coldly glanced at Lillian. “Am I the one keeping you waiting?”
Lillian was dumbstruck when Judson walked over.
“Judson.” Lillian turned her head, crying. She tugged at his clothes with a pitiful look. “Rose won’t forgive me. What should I do?”
Lillian was so good at being a goody-two-shoes that Darrin was attracted out of his car.
“Rose, Lillian is here to apologize to you.” Judson looked at Rose.

His words were so protective and confident.
“So what?” Rose smiled. “Do I have to accept her apology? Did I ever beg her to apologize?”
Judson didn’t answer, but his eyes grew colder.
How could Rose be so unreasonable now? She had become so aggressive and was totally different from what she used to be.
Was this her true color?
“Rose, I didn’t know that Hector signed a contract with our company. You know that I don’t have talent in business, so I won’t get myself involved in the operation of the company…” Lillian was weeping
“But when I found out the truth after going back, I immediately told Judson about it. Our company will never work with a sc um like Hector again, just trust me…”
“This is your company’s business. What does it have to do with Rose?” Darrin looked at Lillian with a frown. “Could you please just stay out of her life?”
Rose finally escaped from hell, yet Judson was doing his best to drag her back.
Chapter 40 No One Will Admit to Liking a Jerk
“Shut up!” Judson clenched his fists.
He wanted to smash Darrin’s hypocritical face every time he saw it.
Darrin always acted like he was doing everything for Rose’s good yet he abandoned her again and again at critical moments.
Darrin didn’t accept Judson’s provocation.
He just tilted her body and stood between Rose and Judson.
Rose took this opportunity to swipe the card to lock the door and enter the residential complex.
Judson’s face turned livid after he saw their perfect cooperation.
Rose had disappeared into the darkness. The faster she walked, the lower the possibility of a conflict would be.
Darrin was right. They should stay away from her.
Rose felt that the air became fresher and the sky became bluer after she left the Imperial Garden. Even Lillian transformed from her love rival to a hilarious clown.
Darrin was worried that Rose would look back…
But he was overthinking.

Rose woke up in the afternoon the next day.
