Chapter 154 His Sexual Dysfunction Is The Reason For Divorce
Hector smiled and said. “You’ve been holding onto this glass of juice for half an hour now. If you can’t bear to part with it.”
He paused and continued sincerely. “Why not shift your attention to someone else, like me? I’m good at comforting people and fighting. I am very good–looking and physically fit. I can even learn
to cook. I don’t mind that you act like a dull, old woman now. I might be taken soon if you don’t
immediately seize a good man like me.”
Calista laughed and said, “No, I can’t make a move on a friend.”
“Then are you interested in all these girlish men?” Hector asked as he cast a disapproving look at
Yara.
She had said she supported his pursuit of Calista, but then she invited these men to join them.
Calista put down the juice, then yawned.
“Not really, so I’m planning to go back to sleep.”
The aftermath of staying up late is feeling mentally drained for several days. Upon hearing that,
Yara also got up.
“Let’s go together. We set up this gathering just to help you relax. What’s the point in us
continuing to have fun if you left?”
The group left the private room, fearing something unexpected might happen. Calista didn’t want
to see Lucian, but she ran into him right by the elevator.
He was with Lily, Cade, and Paul.
Calista couldn’t help but wonder what a coincidence. However, she didn’t deliberately avoid him.
She just looked straight ahead, pretending they didn’t exist.
The elevator was currently on the first floor, and for some reason, it remained there for a long time.
Lily spoke up, her voice was cold, “Calista, what a coincidence, running into you here.”
Calista didn’t say anything. The already tense atmosphere seemed to turn frigid by the moment.
Lily felt a bit awkward.
“Calista, about last night, I’ve explained…”

“Sorry.” Hector said as he put his arm around Calista’s shoulder and pulled her behind him.
“Miss, do you have thick skin, or are you just oblivious? Can’t you see that no one wants to talk to
you?”
He had read on the news that Lily was rumored to be Lucian’s girlfriend.
Lily’s eyes turned red, and she pursed her lips tightly. She turned and looked at Lucian as if she
had been wronged.
Lucian’s eyes swept over Hector’s hand on Calista and scoffed. Hector followed Lily’s gaze, and his
lips curved into a contemptuous smile.
“Mr. Northwood, you have a unique taste in women. I didn’t expect this to be your type.”
Lucian replied indifferently, “When it comes to having thick skin or being, Mr. Calloway, you’re
the best. Even when others dislike you, you insist on getting closer.”
His words were very bitter.
Calista frowned and said, “Lucian, please open your eyes and see who started this before
defending someone.”
Hector had confronted Lily to help Calista get rid of her. She couldn’t stand by and watch him
being targeted by this morally questionable couple.
Looking at Lily disdainfully, she mocked, “Miss Scott, there’s no need to beat around the bush.
Others might think I did something terrible to you. You got caught trying to get into Lucian’s bed
last night. This man is defending you, so he probably hadn’t mentioned this to anyone. Be smart
so his efforts won’t be in vain. It’s as if you’re afraid that others won’t know, and you’re talking
about it everywhere.”
Calista had honed her ability to confront people without getting dirty during years of battling with
the Everhart family. She didn’t stutter once in her response.
Then, she turned her attention to Lucian, saying, “Control your woman. It’s annoying enough that
she’s unpleasant, but she insists on speaking to others.”
The elevator arrived.
Calista pulled Yara into the elevator and said to Cade, who was about to enter, “Mr. Carter, it’s
overloaded. Could you please take the next one?”

Without hesitation, she pressed the close button Now, only Cade, Lucian, and Lily were left inside
Lily’s eyes were red as she tried to hold back her tears.
He was caught in an awkward situation! Calista had come in Hector’s car
She pressed the button for the basement and then the first floor, saying, “Yara and I will take a
taxi back. Since you’ve been drinking, please get a driver. Be careful on the way.*
Paul offered, “I’ll drive you.”
Hector chimed in, “You and Yara can wait for me at the entrance. It’s not safe for girls to take a
taxi so late.”
Both of them spoke at the same time. Calista rubbed her temples, feeling a headache coming on.
Yara hugged Calista and said, “Come on, can you give us girls a little privacy to chat for a while?
You have to give her some space. Don’t be so clingy.”
She wanted to say they were annoying but refrained since Paul was there. She wasn’t familiar
with him, and he had always carried himself elegantly. So, she felt that calling him annoying
would be disrespectful.
Hector, on the other hand, was straightforward.
“If I don’t act clingy like a puppy, she’ll forget me the moment she leaves.”
However, he didn’t insist on taking them home.
Instead, he said, “Text me when you get home.”

The next day, Calista slept in until noon
She lay in bed, gazing at the sparkling crystal chandelier above her head, and it took her a
moment to realize that she had stayed at Yara’s house last night.
She was still tired from oversleeping. She took out her phone and opened Facebook to see a post
mentioning her.
“Mr. and Mrs. Northwood in a fight.”
The photo attached was from last night at the elevator when she and Lucian were arguing.
Due to the lighting, the image was somewhat blurry, but it was evident that both of them were

Calista glanced at it briefly and casually commented, “We’re not fighting. We’re getting a divorce
After posting the comment, the tossed her phone aside, got out of bed, and began her morning routine, completely unaware that her comment had caused an uproar on Facebook to go viral.
When she emerged from the bathroom, she had received hundreds of notifications. She opened it to find her inbox flooded with messages:
“Don’t blame Lily if you can’t keep your own husband“”
“Why are you so disgusting? Lily has clarified that she’s just friends with Mr. Northwood. You’re misleading the public.”
“I’ll sue you for defamation if you don’t publicly apologize to Lily and clear the air.”
Calista was puzzled and clicked on the Facebook post she had commented on, only to find that the owner of the post had replied.
“Is it because of Lily? I always thought she looked pretentious. An ex–girlfriend should be as good as dead. But she keeps showing up in front of Mr. Northwood.”
Below was a series of insults, all from Lily’s fans. The girl who had made the post seemed quite young, and her replies later on seemed on the verge of being bullied to tears.
Calista cursed Lily and Lucian. They were everywhere, making it impossible for her to have a moment’s peace when checking her phone or going online.
Calista replied, “The reason for divorce is his sexual dysfunction. Thanks to a certain someone for recycling my trash and saving me from this ordeal.”
Five minutes later, the post turned into a full–blown online battle. It trended on Facebook and
caused the website to crash.
