Chad said modestly, “Thank you But Hugh is better than I am.”
“Chad, you are so humble. Have you had breakfast?” Mira thought to herself, “Hugh is only good at making money. Other than that, he is nothing good.”
“No.”
Mira asked politely, “Would you like to have some with us? I think you will like it
“Okay.”
Chad smiled and was about to sit down. But Hugh suddenly grabbed his arm.
“No, you are not eating. Come with me. I have something to tell you.” Hugh dragged Chad out quickly.
“Mira, see you next time.”
Chad called Mira intimately as if they had known each other for a long time.
Mira waved her hand and thought, “Hugh is so rude. Luckily, Chad has a good temper and puts up with him.”

Outside the room.
Hugh didn’t let go of Chad until he dragged Chad to the yard.

40 Vouchers
“What’s wrong? I came to see you without having breakfast. I feel hurt now.” While speaking, Chad looked at Hugh carefully.
Zackary said Hugh didn’t even have a quilt last night. Chad thought Hugh would catch a cold.
Hugh said with a sneer, “You came to make fun of me. Don’t you think
know that?”
“I came to see what woman could defeat you… No, I mean the woman defeating Sylvia.” Seeing Hugh’s angry face, Chad swallowed a laugh and continued, “Out of my expectations, I have met her already. Mira is a pretty and adorable girl. You must have been mean to her.”
“What did you say?”
Hugh was furious. “You are just saying that because she is beautiful. Chad, I’d like to remind you that she is my wife.”
Chad stroked his chin. “But you will get a divorce sooner or later. Actually, I quite like Mira. When you get divorced, can I pursue her?”
Hugh suddenly wanted to kick his best friend away. “You are my friend. So, here is my advice. Stay away from her. Mira isn’t what she looks like. She is cranky and rude, no match for the noble girls in Svallion City.”
“I don’t think so. I found her easy–going. She just warmly invited me to breakfast.”
Chad grinned, “Maybe she is only rude to you and your family.”
Hugh didn’t know how to contradict that.
Hugh squinted his eyes in a bad mood.
He felt offended.

Chad said with a smile, “Don’t be angry. Mira just treats you the way you treat her. It’s fair. You kicked her out late at night once. So, I don’t think you are nice to her in daily life. You resist her, so she resists you.”
Hugh was lost in thought.
He recalled the first time he met Mira. Hugh was mean to her.
He thought Mira was a gold digger and that she married him for a hidden agenda.
Seeing Hugh’s expression, Chad knew he was right. He patted Hugh on the shoulder. “Mira treated me nicely just now and smiled at me. You saw that.”
While speaking, Chad suddenly felt bleak, though it was summer.
Subconsciously, he looked at Hugh. Hugh had no expression on his good–looking face, but there was a cold look in his eyes.
