He realized a majority of theapplicants had a bachelor’s degree from either local orinternational universities. There were evenpostgraduates who applied for the position.This is ridiculous! It’s just an errand–boy position, andthe benefits aren’t that great. Still, it attracted so manytalented people to apply for it. Looks like many want to use this position as their steppingstone to join TerenceGroup.As compared to theirs, Emmanuel’s resume was not asimpressive, and his skills were not a match.When he placed his resume down, he heard a familiarvoice.“Haha! Even an illiterate person wants to join TerenceGroup. He’s totally building castles in the air.”Emmanuel turned around to find the voice belonged toMilani’s brother, Jacob.Although Jacob was like a ruffian, he had a bachelor’sdegree. He quickly made his way to Alessandraand asked, “Mom, shouldn’t you be resting in the ward?Why are you here?”Alessandra originally wanted to hide from him, butnow that Emmanuel had approached her, she could only sigh and explain, “You didn’t give your wife a betrothal gift, nor did you buy anything for her. Now, you’re even borrowing money from her. It makes me feel really uncomfortable. Anyway, I heard they’re hiring cleaners here, and the benefits are better than in most other places.
