Chapter 5 Take Office
So, these high–level executives, who talked behind Valarie, just exposed their ugly side.
“This is outrageous! Ms. Dodson is the only legitimate daughter of the Dodson family! Are they brainless?” The executive secretary, Roger Linn, sitting in the front passenger seat, blushed with anger.
“Ah, I don’t mind if I’m legitimate or not. Why do you have to make a big deal out of it?”
Valarie narrowed her eyes and lightly pinched Roger’s cheek with her slender hand, which caused Roger to blush.
“Valarie, you are the future CEO of the KS Group. Can’t you be more authoritative and stop being so touchy–feely with Roger?” Jason frowned slightly.
“What’s wrong with that? Men can flirt with their female secretaries, but I can’t touch the check of my male secretary”
Valarie clicked her tongue. “I touch him. It’s his blessing”
Jason shook his head, while a tender and gentle smile remained on his handsome face.

“I want to go to the hotel first.”

Gerold anxiously led Jason and Valarie to the buffet restaurant.
Jason remained calm, wishing no one would register his presence. He allowed his sister to do what she wanted.
The restaurant was not yet open for lunch, but the waiters had already started setting up the food.
Valarie’s sharp gaze scanned the dishes and suddenly stopped at the seafood section.
She rolled up her sleeves and reached into the glass container before accurately picking out a dead shrimp from among hundreds.
“Explain this.”
“It isn’t dead…” Gerold stammered.
“Not dead? Then, may I ask Mr. Gates to eat it?” Valarie showed an alluring smile.
“Ms. Dodson, you can see that there are many shrimps here. It’s normal to have one dead…”
“So, is it also normal for the guests to get food poisoning from eating dead shrimp?”
Valarie’s smile disappeared. “Morcover, there are a total of 356 shrimps in this glass container. I casually glanced at it and found five dead shrimps. Besides, there are at least thirty that are dying.
“I don’t know how the guests feel about paying 50 dollars per person to eat this kind of thing. If I were a customer, I would blacklist this hotel
and visit it again!

Gerold’s legs went limp in fear while the other top management was stunned.
Only Jason and Roger knew that Valarie had an exceptional memory, and sharp eyes. When she was young, she even helped the police solve a major criminal case.
Just a few dead shrimps were nothing.
In the hotel rooms, Valarie took a clean white handkerchief from Roger and gently wiped the walls and frames.
“Not clean enough. There is dust. Redo it.”

Valarie glanced at Roger, who understood and ordered in a low voice, “Open the door to this guest room.”

“No, that’s not it! Ellie Home provided substandard products and sold cheap bedding to KS World Hotel. That’s why I want to punish them severely!” Valarie snorted forcefully,
