Mom
Judson finally knew from whom Rose learned to be unreasonable.
Tameka brought Darrin with her
Judson thought. “Why did Mom do that? Isn’t there enough trouble?”
“Judson. I saw Mr. Carroll standing outside the ward when came. It’s kind of Mr. Carroll to visit you. How could you let him stay outside?”
Tameka gave Judson a lecture eloquently.
She turned around and let Isidro go away. Tameka sat down beside Rose “Rose, how do you feel now? I heard that you fainted. Your health is just as important as your career.”
Tameka held Rose’s hands and frowned. “Why are your hands so
cold?”
Tameka immediately glanced at Judson.
Lillian didn’t act weak like just now. Instead of leaning softly against the bed, she straightened her back and moved away from Judson a little.
Lillian still remembered the harsh words from Tameka last time.
Lillian was naturally afraid of Tameka. Tameka was Judson’s mother. She had power and didn’t play by the conventional rules.
As expected, Tameka sneered, “No wonder Rose’s hands are cold. Her heart is broken.”
Judson found Tameka irrational.
“Mom…”
“Don’t call me Mom. I wish I hadn’t given birth to you.” Tameka was
angry.
When she knew that Judson and Rose were in the same ward, Tameka thought Judson finally knew the right thing to do.
But when she came over, Tameka was furious.
Judson and Lillian were so intimate in front of Rose.
“Mr. Carroll, please have a seat.” Tameka was pis sed off, and she wanted to vent her anger. Tameka smiled at Darrin and said gently, “I’m so silly. Mr. Carroll, of course, you are not here for Judson. Come on. Sit beside Rose. Poor Rose, she sits here alone. Luckily, you care about her, Mr. Carroll.”
Darrin was shy.
Rose was taken away by Judson when she passed out. Darrin was worried that she would get hurt again when she woke up, so he wanted to come in to take a look. But Judson wouldn’t let him come in.
So, he called Tameka for help.
Tameka was being unreasonable, and Judson felt embarrassed.
“Did you call my mother over?”
Before Darrin sat down, Judson asked him unpleasantly.

So, it could only be Darrin who called Tameka over. Judson knew that Darrin would do anything for Rose,
Darrin let out a snort, but he said to Lillian, “Ms. Stewart, I heard that Hector and Sunny Summer Entertainment had a betting agreement. Did you arrange this interview?”
Rose thought, “How did Darrin know that?”
Rose looked up at Darrin in surprise.
Judson and Tameka looked at Lillian almost at the same time.
Tameka had a sharp look. Though she didn’t know what had happened, she obviously had no good feelings for Lillian.
Judson squinted his eyes silently. He didn’t look happy.
Lillian was nervous and stuttered, “No… I know nothing about the interview. I don’t run the company. Mr. Carroll, I don’t know what you are talking about.”
Lillian thought, “I can only act innocent now. I have to!
“Once they know I did it, I will lose my credibility in front of Judson. It will undo years of hard work.
“I have done so much. I’m so close to my goal. I can’t give up now.”
Lillian didn’t think Darrin had any evidence.
She believed Hector and his people would keep the secret.
Because Hector couldn’t afford to offend Lillian and her family.
Even if Judson found out about the betting agreement between Hector and Sunny Summer Entertainment, it couldn’t prove that Lillian
After thinking about it, Lillian said confidently, “Mr. Carroll, could you please tell me what happened? What did Hector do?”
Tameka also looked at Darrin. “Mr. Carroll, I also want to know what happened.”
Darrin didn’t tell the whole story.
From what he said, Tameka could only know that Lillian did something bad. She knew nothing else and was eager to know the truth.
But how could Darrin tell exactly what had happened?

Darrin continued compellingly, “I’m not surprised that you told Judson to come over too.
“You wanted to ruin Rose and let us watch it.
“But you messed it up and wanted me to end it for you.”
Darrin was standing not far away when the doctor gave Rose a blood test. He clearly heard it when the doctor told Judson the result.
“You wanted to frame Rose with this interview, and you wanted Judson to watch it. However, Rose didn’t fall into your trap. You were afraid that she and Judson would get back together. So, you quickly informed me to go over there. Lillian, you are just as crafty as your

Lillian broke out in a cold sweat.
Darrin was right.
Everything Darrin said was true.
After all, Darrin was an outstanding media professional and a qualified successor to Flourish Media.
But such an extraordinary man was obsessed with Rose-and helped her all the time.
Lillian thought, “Rose doesn’t deserve him!”
Tameka stood up suddenly.
“Lillian, what did you do? Tell me everything!” Though Darrin didn’t tell the whole story, Tameka had a rough guess about the hidden details.
She was furious and rebuked, “I’m going to teach you a lesson for your mother!”
“But I didn’t do anything.” Lillian shivered and cried, “I knew nothing about it. Believe me. I’ll investigate it and prove my innocence. I like Judson, but I won’t steal him from Rose…”
Lillian cried so sadly. Seeing that Tameka didn’t believe her, she turned to Judson and held his arm.
“Judson, I didn’t do it. You know me. Please believe me. If you don’t believe me, I’ll jump off the building!”
“No one will stop you.” Tameka felt disgusted with Lillian’s pure disguise. She pointed at the window. “Do you need me to help you
with it?”
Lillian certainly didn’t dare to jump off the building. She kept crying and was almost out of breath. Lillian tried to bury herself in Judson’s
arms.
“Judson, you know me the best. You know how much effort I have made to bring you and Rose together.”
But Judson pushed Lillian back.
“I’ll figure out the truth,” Judson said coldly. There was no warmth in his eyes.
Lillian was terrified.
She thought, “Judson suspects me!”
Lillian was nervous and angry. “You can’t believe everything Mr. Carroll said. Judson, how can you not trust me? I…”
Tameka stepped aside and kept away from the window. She said slowly, “You can jump off the building.’
