Suddenly, I was surrounded by beautiful blooms. There are many varieties of roses, each with its own unique hue. As more and more sprouted at the same time, it resembled a distant sea.
“I haven’t been to this place in quite some time.” A sigh escaped my lips.
This is a spot that has left me feeling nostalgic.
Constantly quiet. Maybe I’m the only one in this place. sound of birds singing above the clouds Together, they take to the air. They do not abandon any of them. If only I were a bird. They vanish and reappear as they go through the fluffy white clouds. They disappeared into the distance over time.
They can go their separate ways without worrying about being left by their lover.
The grass scratched my back as I lay there. Just to save time, I didn’t even bother to grab a new sheet. I lay out in the sunlight and let the rays warm my body. Just give me a moment to stare up at the stars. If I look at it too long, I start to freak out.
“You’re here, and I should have expected it.”
Upon hearing a voice, I turned to look at the speaker. His face was obscured by the sun’s glare. Because I was waiting for him to come to me, I didn’t see his face until he was right in front of me. I was met with creased brows and concerned looks.
I avoided looking at him as he came closer. I don’t want him to notice my sad eyes.
“You always find me right here,” I told him.
“I’m not just getting to know you; I already know you very well. I’m your older brother, right?”
After carefully considering his response, I nodded slowly. Afterward, I grew silent. After looking away for a moment, I’m now looking up once more. The sensation of his body being close to mine was comforting. And now it’s attacking me!
“You should not feel alone in your struggles, Jhelliet. The hunky sibling you always wanted to meet has arrived.” His comment was meant as a joke.
Giving me the confidence that I have someone to lean on whenever my worries begin to overwhelm me. I cracked a sour smile. Tears were running down my cheeks.
As the saying goes, “Not all men will leave you.”
“No, I haven’t disappeared, my little sis.” He began to dry my tears. But the tears just keep coming. He advised me not to cry for those who do not deserve them.
Thank goodness, I have someone in my life who haven’t abandoned me yet. I wish.
My wailing simply increased the intensity of my tears. When I felt arms around me, I had to look at the person I had been trying to avoid.
“I don’t want to hear you sob.” He nuzzled up against my neck. “Let’s eat your favorite right now,” he mumbled.
The thought of devouring my favorite food caused me to beam with joy. He’s clingy, that older brother of mine. Indeed, that is the way things are. You should just adjust to it. We rise to our feet. Garments that have been vigorously juggled At first, we gaped at a rosy horizon that seemed to go on forever.
“Brother, tell me the truth, Mama must have told you about me, right?” I said
Nobody was aware that I had left.
No, he said, “I simply know you’re here.”
My cheeks broke out in a broad grin. He certainly won’t own up to it to me. Maybe if I try to force it, it will tickle me.
“In any case,” I said, “you would treat me.” It caused me to pout.
I was correct in my assumption that white and red roses would predominate. For that purpose alone, I came here.
“You don’t text your mom,” he say.
“How did you know that?”
“So now I know why she’s so concerned about you. It’s the middle of the afternoon, and you still haven’t responded to her messages or returned her calls.” When I asked him what he meant,
“What do you say, bro, about staying here?” “I simply want to wait for the sun to set.”
The man agreed, stating, “Okay, as long as you go home after that.” “I waited for the sun to set, as long as you go home after that.” I waited for the sun to set. The sky is a vibrant combination of orange and blue. The blossoms are basking in the sun’s rays.
He remarked how beautiful it was.
As the same face as mine. Kidding
Despite my previous stomach rumblings, I was able to crack jokes. I skipped breakfast this morning and haven’t eaten anything since. My stomach is full. My thoughts were elsewhere, so I failed to recognize them.
We left the Bed of Roses Garden after watching the sun go down. In fact, I made a significant effort to arrive at this place. If I leave from Manila, it will take me more than six hours to reach this location. But, before we head home, we’re stopping by my all-time favorite eatery. Thereafter, we boarded his vehicle. Spend some time on the road, and you’ll reach Aunty Pasing’s ultimate stop. The bulalo here is top-notch. I take pride in Aunty Pasing’s cuisine.
“Oh, Lliet, you just came here.” “Is it still the same?” When we sat down, Aunty Pasing posed the question.
“Indeed, nothing has changed from before.” Uncomfortable grin.
“It appears that you are currently with Hunk. So, where is the other one? “The one you used to be with during your previous meal here.”
“Who is it?” I lied.
She pointed to one of them and said, “The one that’s a little dark and then tall.”
“Maybe that was another one of your customers,” I mused. She merely scratched behind the ears.
The one I’m trying to put out of my mind is that one. When Aunty Pasing says, “Our orderly mind is that one,” When Aunty Pasing says “our order,” she goes once she has our orders.
“You haven’t visited this place in quite some time, have you?”
Yes. “More than two years.” I squinted my eyes under the table.
Avoid forcing yourself to forget him if you simply can’t. The loser is you, too. When I asked him what he meant, he said
How could you have possibly forgotten her so quickly, Brother? “Not even a month has passed.”
I’ll never be able to forget her. “Simply faking my own well-being helped me get through it.” Not that there’s anything wrong with putting on an act, but…
Pretend?
Consider your feelings before making a decision.
Inwardly, I wonder how he manages to act like he doesn’t care about the person he knows I adore.
