Pestered By My Young by Bella Bruno Chapter 17

Chapter 17
Harvey drank a lot of liquor, so much so that the scent on his skin was enough to make one feel tipsy.
“Do you really want to know, Sabbie?” Harvey raised his head, smiled at Sabrina, and then beckoned her to come closer.
Sabrina inched closer to the man, not knowing what came over her.
“You-” However, before Sabrina could say anything, Harvey held her head and kissed her aggressively.
Harvey’s breath was hot and his body was warm because of the alcohol.
His kisses sent a warm sensation that spread all over Sabrina’s body.
“Sabbie, we’ve kissed so many times. Don’t you know to breathe while kissing?” Harvey smiled. Although he was drunk, he didn’t forget to flirt with Sabrina.
Sabrina’s ears were burning. Her breaths were heavy as she pushed Harvey away, and she quickly retreated into her room in a panic.
“Harvey’s drunk, but I’m not. I must’ve gone crazy! Why didn’t I push him away when he started kissing me? I even felt… somewhat excited?” she thought.
Meanwhile, Harvey was still sitting in front of her door, shrugging dejectedly.
“Harvey, get a hold of yourself.” Sabrina didn’t want him to go crazy right in front of her door. After all, everyone on the cruise was staying at the same hotel.
Afraid that Harvey would stir up trouble for her, Sabrina reached out and grabbed the man’s collar, pulling him into the
room.
Harvey sat on the ground unscrupulously after Sabrina let him in. With tears in his eyes, he called out to her in an aggrieved tone, “Sabbie…”
The sight moved Sabrina, and her mind went blank for a moment.
Harvey then pulled Sabrina into his arms and rubbed his face against hers. “Please don’t leave me alone…”
As a result of the man’s actions, Sabrina lost her footing and fell onto Harvey. Her body stiffened, and she felt hot.
“He’s going way overboard. How dare he act coquettishly while drunk!” she exclaimed inwardly.
“Sabbie, you already lied to me once. You can’t leave me again.” Harvey’s pleading tone was laced with a hint of warning and threat.
After taking a deep breath, Sabrina took off her glasses, threw them aside, and reminded him word by word, “Harvey, we are
over.”
“No! I don’t want to!” Harvey continued to be unreasonable and tightened his arms around Sabrina.
“You!” Sabrina gritted her teeth. He held her so tightly that she felt it difficult to breathe.
Harvey then looked at Sabrina with his bright and watery eyes. “Sabbie, my parents don’t want me anymore. You can’t leave
me too.”
Sabrina instantly felt a tightness in her chest. Then, she lowered her head and stared into Harvey’s reddened eyes.
“Was he also abandoned by his parents as a child?” she wondered.
Perhaps the man’s story reminded Sabrina of her past, and her expression softened. “Be good and sit up.”
“I won’t! Unless you promise me that you’ll never lie to me, and you won’t ever leave me again!” Harvey was the textbook example of a spoiled brat who never knew when to stop.
Harvey took Sabrina’s hand and rubbed it against his face before planting a kiss on it.
His cheeks were warm due to all the alcohol, and his kiss tickled her palm.
Sabrina could feel a tingling sensation in her chest.
“Harvey, please be good and get up first.” Sabrina slowed down her tone as if she was trying to coax him.
She was surprised by her words and mused, “Since when did I know how to coax people? It’s all Harvey’s fault. After drinking alcohol, he becomes clingy, as if he is a different person.”
“Sabbie, I’ve been coveting you for a long time…” Harvey’s disobedient hand reached for Sabrina’s shirt button as he spoke.
At that, Sabrina’s expression darkened in an instant, and she grabbed his finger. “Harvey, look carefully. Who am I?”
Sabrina’s intuition told her that Harvey was drunk and mistook her for someone else.
Perhaps everything he said or did wasn’t meant for her at all.

After all, they hadn’t known each other for long, and neither did they covet nor lie to each other.
“Sabbie…” However, Harvey continued to call out to her.
Sabrina thought she wasn’t interested in finding out if there was another “Sabbic.”
Thus, Sabrina was surprised to find her curiosity piqued. All of a sudden, she wanted to know who he was calling for. “Harvey, who am I?”
“Jacqueline said…” Harvey’s voice trailed off at the end, thus Sabrina couldn’t hear him at all.
Even so, she was certain he mentioned Jacqueline.
“Hal” Sabrina pushed Harvey away and got to her feet. Suddenly, she felt like a joke.
When she first met Harvey, he’d told her that he had someone he liked, and it was a woman older than him.
Later, he even asked her for resources so he could get close to Jacqueline.
After analyzing the situation and Harvey’s feelings for Jacqueline, Sabrina became even more determined to end things with him.
The Grand Dynasty show ended smoothly, and Sabrina flew to Fruycia after that.
She had to focus on her work, as it was almost time to apply for the exhibition. Moreover, she also needed to win the Fruycia Contemporary Visual Arts Award to support her solo exhibition.
“Ms. Hayes, you’re the first photographer to win the Chueles International Film Festival Award before graduation. Are you confident you’ll be able to win the Contemporary Visual Arts Award?”
“Ms. Hayes, as a Clusian, what do you have to say about your work being shortlisted?”
“Ms. Hayes, I heard that there are scandals between you and Calvin Xavier, the CEO of Clusia Entertainment. Do you know that he has a fiancée?”
“Ms. Hayes, some people have pointed out that your work doesn’t match your private life. Is that true?”
Sabrina had long been used to being surrounded by a sea of journalists back in her home country.
Her master, who brought her into the industry, had told her that the compliments she had received would equal the slander she had to endure.
Thus, Sabrina was never a sensitive person.
“We have no comments until the recipient of the award has been announced,” Elena, Sabrina’s assistant, politely responded as she followed behind Sabrina.
Unlike the others, Elena knew very well that Sabrina was a favorite in the industry. Not only was she extremely capable, but she also had the looks to match her skills.
“Sabrina, I’m surprised to find out that your work has been shortlisted.” At the venue, a graceful and elegant woman walked up to Sabrina, her high heels clicking with every step.
Sabrina remained silent and gave the woman a once-over, ultimately finding her unfamiliar.
“I’m Ellie Leanne, Calvin’s fiancée. I’m also a special guest of the competition.”
Looking at Ellie’s outstretched hand, Sabrina could tell the woman had ill intentions.
“So this is Calvin’s fiancée, whom he has never met before,” she thought.
Calvin had never met Ellie before because the woman had been living in Fruycia since childhood. Likewise, Ellie probably hadn’t seen him either.
However, it was natural for her to be hostile toward her fiancé’s alleged lover.
In order to avoid any unnecessary trouble, Sabrina explained indifferently, “I’m Calvin’s childhood friend and also his classmate at university.”
“Are you reminding me that you and Calvin are close because the two of you grew up together?” Ellie raised her brows. Her hostility toward Sabrina was evident.
“I’m sorry. You seem to have misunderstood, but I can’t be bothered to explain those baseless claims.” Sabrina exuded a strong aura as she spoke.
“I’m six years younger than Calvin. I haven’t seen him before, and I’m not interested in him either. Our engagement is merely a deal between our parents, and I already have someone in my heart. Hence, I don’t mind if he has someone else either.” Ellie was frank.
Frowning, Sabrina carefully looked at the wealthy heiress in front of her and whispered inwardly, “She’s six years younger than Calvin. That means she’s six years younger than me too. Since she doesn’t care about Calvin and there’s someone in her heart, then this hostility…”

“Sabrina, I like your work very much, but I must remind you that you’d better watch yourself before my engagement with Calvin is broken. If my father makes a move against you, no one can protect you, Calvin included,” said Ellie confidently.
