Chapter 10
“Please take us to Livewood Hotel,” Sabrina said in a deep voice.
Out of professionalism, the taxi pretended not to hear what Harvey said.
“No, we’re not going to the hotel…” Harvey acted as if he was wildly drunk, hugging Sabrina and refusing to go to the hotel.
Sabrina ignored him. She had never taken someone back to her house and didn’t want others to know her too well.
“Sabbie… please bring me back home…”
Sabrina gritted her teeth as she exclaimed inwardly, “He’s turning into such a seducer after he’s drunk!”
In the past, Sabrina couldn’t understand Rayne, her best friend. The latter frequently changed boyfriends, all of whom were super flirtatious.
At this moment, Sabrina finally understood it.
Realizing Harvey was a dangerous man, Sabrina suddenly felt a strong sense of crisis.
“Give me your ID card.” Sabrina stretched out her hand and asked Harvey for his ID card.
Fortunately, she was very rational.
“I didn’t bring it…” Harvey muttered pitifully.
Sabrina gasped when she heard his answer. She had come out in a hurry and hadn’t brought her ID card too.
“How the hell are we going to the hotel without an ID card?” Sabrina cursed inwardly.
“Where do you live? I’ll send you back-”
Before Sabrina could finish her sentence, Harvey was already lying on her lap, saying in a cold voice, “I don’t have a home… That’s not my home.”
Sabrina wasn’t sure if she had imagined things, but she felt the temperature in the taxi suddenly drop.
“My dad has a mistress and a good son. He doesn’t need me anymore…”
Sabrina felt her heart tighten. She had never thought that she’d feel sorry for Harvey.
“So, has he been working so hard just to prove himself to his family?” she wondered inwardly.
With a sigh, Sabrina accepted her fate and gave in. She said to the taxi driver, “Sir, please take us to Emerald Residence.”
She seemed to understand people like Harvey, who did not have a strong background, and why he worked so hard.
When she finally cleaned Harvey up and threw him on the couch, Sabrina felt tired, and her back ached.
Looking at the young man with reddened eyes, Sabrina subconsciously pulled out her phone and gave Calvin a call.
She was very close to Calvin. However, she never wanted to trouble him.
“Hey, Beauty. Why are you calling me so late at night? Have you finally come to your senses?” On the other end of the line, Calvin smiled as he flirted with her.
Night fell, and the floor-to-ceiling window was connected to the pool. The air in the room was filled with a sense of lustfulness.
On the surface of the water, a pair of hands lay on Calvin’s defined and chiseled abs.

Calvin’s face darkened as he glared at the woman who was hugging him, warning her not to make
As the woman saw Calvin walking out of the pool, she slapped the surface of the water furiously.
“I was so close to having him! Who is that call from that made it so important?” she fumed internally.
“Haha, stop joking around.” Sabrina was amused by what Calvin said. “I’m just calling to ask if you sponsored the movie titled ‘Affair’?”
Calvin’s fingers stiffened as he gripped the phone, and he narrowed his eyes.
He suddenly felt a sense of crisis.
“Why? Have you finally thought it through and are ready to become an actress under me?” Calvin asked while he lit his cigarette.
Sabrina took a deep breath. “Please recommend someone to act in the movie on my behalf.”
Calvin narrowed his eyes, and his gaze spelled danger. He remained silent for a while.
Sabrina had been in countless difficult situations over the years, yet she had never asked for his help.

Chapter 10
He knew Sabrina extremely well.
During Sabrina’s sophomore year, something happened to her family. She had to attend school and also pay off her father’s debts. She couldn’t even afford a sanitary pad during her most difficult time. However, even then, she remained prideful and never asked for anybody’s help.
“Who is it, Brynna? It’s rare to see you asking for help,” Calvin asked as he narrowed his eyes and put out the cigarette that had just been lit in his hand.
“Don’t overthink it. I just think he’s talented. Also, he’s a newcomer to your company!” Sabrina pretended to speak in a casual tone.
“Who’s the lucky guy in our company that has his talent recognized by you?”
“Stop joking around. Just tell me if you’re willing to help.” Sabrina felt slightly embarrassed, as it was the first time she was asking for help.
“It’s rare for you to ask for help. Of course, I’m going to help even if it’s an impossible task.”
Sabrina turned to look at the drunk Harvey and smiled. Her face was flushed to the tip of her ears. “It’s Harvey, the new model of your company. I’ve shot two promotional videos with him, and he’s talented.”
“Brynna, have you finally come to your senses? Do you want me to get him to accompany you? Young men have good physical strength. Do you want to give it a try?” Calvin finally broke his silence after a while. However, he didn’t sound like he was merely joking with Sabrina.
It sounded more like he was testing her.
