Pestered By My Young by Bella Bruno Chapter 9

Chapter 9
“Why do you care so much?” Sabrina’s voice grew colder, as she wasn’t in a good mood.
Elena instantly shut up and dared not speak.
She almost forgot that Sabrina didn’t like gossiping and always tried to stay out of other people’s business.
Sabrina was tired when she returned to her rented house. She just wanted to take a bath and go to bed immediately.
After taking off the high heels on her feet, Sabrina placed them neatly on the floor. Like most successful single women, her residence was clean and tidy, without a single speck of dust. However, it didn’t feel cozy.
Living alone, Sabrina never treated this place as her home. It was just a place for her to sleep and rest.
After taking off her shirt, Sabrina stood in front of the mirror in the bathroom and glanced at herself.
Suddenly, she felt a sense of emptiness that she’d never felt before. It was not on the physical level, but it was a psychological and spiritual emptiness.
Sabrina had never felt like this before. She had never wanted to get married and had always enjoyed her single life, as it was much simpler. But now, she felt like the sense of emptiness was consuming her.
When Sabrina was taking a bath with a facial mask on, she got a call.
Harvey’s voice, filled with drunkenness, sounded on the phone.
Sabrina instantly sat up straight, clenching her fists slightly. “What’s wrong?”
“Sabbie, I think I’m drunk… Can you… please come and pick me up?” Harvey pleaded.
“Where are you-” Sabrina’s mind went blank, and the instant those words left her lips, she regretted it.
“I’m at The Night on Yarrow Street.”
Sabrina gritted her teeth in exasperation when she heard his words. She didn’t know how far he would be willing to go to get good resources.
The Night was a bar located at Yarrow Street. It was also known as a luxury bar or a pub street where the people there were not limited by the usual definitions of gender. It was always filled with young people who went there for a good time.
“Don’t go anywhere and wait for me!” Sabrina ordered in a stern voice.
At The Night, the luxury pub street was filled with hangovers and intoxicated people.
Harvey leaned against the wall in a corner. From head to toe, his slender figure caught a lot of attention from both men and women who were under the influence of alcohol.
“Hey, hottie. Are you here by yourself?” A woman in a spaghetti-strap dress approached Harvey. She was smiling as she tried to press her body against him.
Harvey glanced at her coldly and threateningly.
The woman was startled by his cold gaze and immediately sobered up. “Hottie, do you want to go on a date with me?”
Harvey frowned, his patience obviously running thin. “Get lost!”
He then stood up straight and saw Sabrina at the entrance of Yarrow Street.
Walking past the woman in front of him, Harvey grabbed Je rry, who was about to leave, and warned, “You’ll be dead if you say something wrong later.”
Je rry trembled with fear upon hearing Harvey’s warning. “Mr. Kingsley, stop kidding around.”
Je rry had been dragged to the set earlier today, and he could feel how Sabrina looked at him. It was as if she was going to eat
him alive.
Harvey glared at him coldly as a warning. Restraining the hostile aura that was emanating from him, he then shifted his gaze to Sabrina.
She looked like she was ready to go to bed. She was wearing sports attire and didn’t have any makeup on, looking like a young lady in her early twenties.
A few men whistled at her and wanted to approach her, but they were taken aback by Sabrina’s gaze.
Although Sabrina had changed her style, the cold and aloof aura she had from being single for so many years remained.
She was exuding a cold aura that warned others not to go near her.
In front of the bar, Je rry looked rather awkward when he spoke to Harvey. “Harvey, you’re drunk. I’ll take you to rest
“Harvey!” Sabrina shouted in a deep voice.

Harvey looked up at Sabrina drunkenly.
“Come over here” Sabrina frowned.
A sweet smile immediately bloomed on Harvey’s face. His smile looked especially vulnerable. “Sabbie… you’re finally here to pick me up…
Je rry chimed in awkwardly, “Ms. Hayes, y-you look so different when you dress like this. You look seven or eight years. younger.”
Harvey smiled more and more meaningfully.
He almost couldn’t contain his excitement.
“Didn’t Harvey tell you that he’s my man?” Sabrina asked indifferently as she tugged Harvey toward her and shielded him. behind her.
She was warning Je rry not to mess with Harvey anymore.
She would definitely chop his hands off if he dared to lay a finger on her man.
Taking advantage of the smell of alcohol on his body, Harvey leaned on Sabrina unrestrainedly. The feeling of being protected by her was addictive to him.
Je rry felt incredibly aggrieved. He felt unfortunate to have known Harvey.
Sabrina was not someone that he could afford to mess with.
In their circle, no one knew about Sabrina’s background. How she managed to get to her current status in the industry remained a mystery.
“Sabbie… let’s go home and sleep together…”
Blaming it all upon the alcohol he had drunk, Harvey spoke without a filter. As soon as they got into the car, he pressed himself against Sabrina, seducing her boldly.
