Läsa confirmed the man was the right person she was meeting today.
Lisa stepped forward and said, “You must be Mr. Godfrey Longwell Hello, I’m Lisa.”
“Hello,” the man replied, studying Lisa
“Um. I wanted to tell you something. L..”
Lisa wanted to apologize to him. After all, she had only agreed to this blind date to appease her mother. She would be fine to treat the man to a meal and consider making a new frend, but nothing further than that.
Godfrey interrupted her before she could finish, Let’s just take a stroll here for now. I see there’s a small park riest to the supermarket. Let’s take a walk there.”
Huh? Go to the park?”
Lisa glanced at the darkening sky. It was already past five in the afternoon, nearly dinner time.
“Aren’t you hungry
She was simply reminding him out of goodwill. After all, this was a crowded area, and many restaurants around here would likely have long queues during dinnertime. If they waited until they finished strolling in the park before eating, they would coincide with the peak dining period and probably have to wait for awhile.
“I’m not hungry yet. Let’s have a chat,” Godfrey replied.
‘Fine, chat it is.”
So Lisa followed him to the small park and experienced what she thought was an absolute bombardment, like a sudden storm
of questions.
Godfrey’s questions were all–encompassing. It started with her age, familly, occupation, then educational background. He asked about which university, high school, middle school, and even elementary school she graduated from.. and so on.
In the end, he even wanted to know her grades in primary school!
Lisa couldn’t help but sigh. Were blind dates so tedious nowadays? Did it require so many questions?
“Ms. Quest, have you been in a relationship before?” Godfrey asked.
“Um, sorry, Mr. Langwell, 1…
Lisa was about to explain, but Godfrey continued, “Ms. Quest, I don’t like it when a girlfriend has had too many previous boyfriends, and I don’t want a girlfriend with extensive experience. I hope you can be honest with me so we can avoid any misunderstandings in the future.”
Lisa was dumbfounded

This was only their first meeting. Even if she wasn’t familiar with blind dates, she knew these weren’t the kind of questions you should ask immediately.

Lisa felt that even if she were genuinely looking for a potential partner throughs This blind date, she definitely wouldn’t have any feelings for Godfrey, not with the way the man was acting. It didn’t seem toe they were compatible.
Just then, a voice rang out, interrupting Lisa’s words, “Well, well… I’m curious to latow the misunderstanding between you and this gentleman.”

She turned around abruptly, and sure enough, a familiar figure entered her sight. He had such a gorgeous face that she, who used to say she was a sucker for pretty faces, couldn’t help but sneak a few more glances whenever she saw him
“W–what are you doing here?” Lisa asked in shock
“What, did you choose this place for your little pet–together because you thought I wouldn’t be here?” Terry shot back in
response.
It suddenly felt the beginning of a storm, and Lisa’s head already started to ache despite nothing happening yet.
She rarely went on blind dates, and yet, the one time she did, Terry had seen her
